Well it's very comfy and has that big city vibe mixed with a small town flavor haven't eaten here yet but the atmosphere alone is filling.

We had a great Sunday brunch! Food was good, prices were fair, and the live music was pleasant. The pancakes were huge too!

While from a street view it may seem like an average pub, The Starving Rooster is steeped in history, tradition, and old fashioned charm. I could go on all day about its origins, but I feel they are best read about straight from the menu. I especially love the decor, and anyone with knowledge of agriculture will delight in seeing all the ways farm machinery has been worked into the architecture of the bar. The menu consisted of a huge array of brick oven baked pizzas as well as thin crust, plus a list of mouth watering entrees. The drink menu is even more impressive, with numerous specials and fair prices across the board. I opted for a half rack of pork ribs, mashed potatoes, ceasar salad, all complimented by a glass of chardonnay. The ribs were not just slathered in a sauce, but the taste radiated from the slowly braised and seasoned pork. Afterwards, I took the advice of my extraordinary waitress, Melissa, and ordered a brownie for desert. It was a delicate blend of chocolate, ice cream, and hints of peanut butter to really send it home. The tables are well laid out, with ample wait staff to see to your needs in a timely manner. They even have regularly scheduled live entertainment, so dont pass The Sarving Rooster up!

The atmosphere is fun, great tap beer selection, great brunch. I've been a couple of times and the food is really good. We really enjoy going here. Space is a bit tight, so for groups it isn't always great.

I ordered the pioneer 12 inch pizza for take out so my rating has no measure of dining experience or service but rather just taste and price. $16 for an indidual size thin pizza exceeds my value threshhold thus one star reduction. Taste was actually less than average in comparison to competitive trends in diners today so no gold star in the taste/quality measure. Way packed with little room to squeeze my way to the bar when picking up my pie so if looking for comfort and ample space to connect with your party consider elsewhere would be my recommendation.

Great food with a unique menu! Price is great too, considering the location. My friends and I are always greeted by friendly staff. Last but not least, they have a fairly large selection of beers on tap.
