Wow is all I can say! We just happened to be passing through and I am so grateful we were able to stop here. The food was absolutely amazing. I was craving a turkey sandwich and they delivered! Love the vibe of the store and the owners were so sweet. Highly recommend!

Traveling on a trip from Alaska to MI, my husband needed coffee to stay awake. So I googled “coffee near me” and it brought up this delightful shop in Carrington ND. We were pulling a trailer and there was plenty of parking for us on Main St.Husband got coffee, I got raspberry ice tea and we each got a yummy pastry. Delightful lady helped us and was training a new employee. I also found in the gift shop two religious magnets ? A delightful find!!???

The store its beautiful, clean place and bathrooms. But the coffee os a litle weak. Other that that its a nice place to stopWe found this place by Google maps. Vey close to the hwy. 52 just few blocks

You will be surprised to find the Garden Gate in the small town of Carrington. The food is delicious. The decor is warm and inviting. The pizza is substantial and the paninis were spot on. You won’t be disappointed with your meal.
Vegetarian options: There are a handful of dishes and pizza.

This is a very quaint little spot to enjoy coffee and a light meal. They also have pastries. We enjoyed it both times we visited. The staff was very willing to talk about the history of Carrington and the buildings that they were in. Enjoyed this very much.

We knew nothing of the Garden Gate before opening the door and now it will be hard to for forget! The sandwich, salads and soups were prepared above class by wonderful people that will restore your faith in humanity:)

Located near Central Pharmacy (many gifts), Second Blessings (thrift store) and the Lioness (women's clothing) if you are making a trip to town.
