The food was good we had a good time food took a while to get to us and our waitress only visited our table about 3-5 times total we laughed talking amongst ourselves she tried to bring out ticket before we even got our food. No biggy however as we were leaving her boyfriend stopped us asking if we were making fun of her in there. We will not be visiting again.

You gotta watch what you get there it’s either gonna come out overcooked or underdone. They don’t clean the oil off their felt top because you can taste the old oil on your food. To walk to the bathroom, You have to go down a little hall. I seen them Set cookies on the counter next to the drink fountain.  the soda fountain area should be blocked off from customers, I’ve seen customers actually go in the kitchen and talk to employees cooking food or  talking to the waitresses, waiting tables. so I’m not surprised they have a 76%. Recommendation. I do not eat there because every time I’ve ate there I’ve either had a hair on my plate or upset GI.

They forgot to put in an order for one of the people at our table. We had already waited a hour because they were semi busy. So two plates come out and not the third. The plates that did come out had the fries mixed up with the sandwiches and the meat on sandwiches was cold. It was not a pleasant experience at all. We asked to speak to a manager. We waited on the manager/owner to come out for another 10 minutes after they said he would be right out. By this time we needed it to go because we were late for work. He did end up giving us our for free so that was a plus.

I ordered a large taco pizza for take out. It cost $30. You would think for $30, you would get a decent pizza. Well, that didn't happen. There was 3 inches all the way around the pizza with little to no toppings and the rest of the pizza had very little meat and almost no cheese. I had to add my own cheese. Same thing happened to a relative a few months ago when they ordered a different kind of pizza from Thompsons. I would suggest that if you are in Cavalier and want a pizza, order it from Bjornson's Gas Station. Its half the price, has a generous amount of toppings and tastes waaay better!

Your perfect hometown meal with a large variety menu. They even have a salad bar. The service was quick and friendly. What a great little place to enjoy family and friends. Pizza is amazing - get the "Once around the kitchen!"
