What a gem! I stopped here for a quick lunch and I’m incredibly happy! The homemade roasted tomato soup was wonderful! I am going to look up a recipe and try make it when I get home. And the BLT sandwich was wonderfully nostalgic and delicious. It was just like my mother used to make. The next time I drive through North Dakota, I will take this northern route just so I can have lunch here.
The food was better than I was expecting after we walked into the place. It has a small town feel with different dining tables and chairs to sit at. Service was nice but slow. We weren't in a huge rush, so I didn't mind it. The ice cream was disappointing, there's a lot to choose from, but the 3 flavors we had were very freezer burnt.
