The few times I go here its 50/50 with food out weighing the service yet depends on who is the server. For this certain visit, poor service from waitress and only had a few tables in our section. My wife ordered chicken and mashed potatoes that looked like it went through a microwave. The chicken was dry, potatoes had the double patty look of a cold scooper sent through the microwave I honestly thought it was a biscuit. I ordered rib rack which wouldve been bland to taste without the overflowed sauce on dry rib meat that came with fries that seemed it got cold and put into a microwave. That rubbery texture all across the board with both meals will happily make me avoid Applebees in Devils Lake from now on.

We sat at the bar last night at our server was awesome as always but we wont be coming to eat here for awhile due to the food again. My boyfriend and I came here for a date last night. We were not happy with how our food was. I asked for my steak to medium rare, and it came rare. The very first cut I made, blood came squirting out of it and my plate started getting more blood than normal. I asked for sautéed mushrooms and onions for my steak and I had a lot of raw onion. My boyfriend told me to put that to the side and eat my burger and he would fix my steak at home. My boyfriend and I also ordered The NEW big Bangin' Burger. We both got regular burgers with just a tiny bit of sauce. Could hardly taste anything. So, we thought it was a normal burger. They were out of broccoli, and that was one of my sides but was a main thing in the chicken broccoli Alfredo that my boyfriend had ordered. He didn't mind but it was what he was after. Our appetizers were better than our food.

anyone near it knows to bring a jacket the AC is COLD. had a problem in Bismarck in June but it was quickly resolved, then back to DL. my son ordered the 6 oz steak and his wife lime chix and it of course bumped up cost but if that steak was even 4 oz I would be surprised my chix was not sliced per menu and sauce this (2) was so hot it burned my throat and I got 4 chips and two in the sauce, combining these visits I can say YOU ARE SLIPPING BADLY.we loved Applebee's but no more we are done and one more son had a bad experience too, you have lost it totally.

The food was pretty good and really flavorful, the best part of our experience though was our server BRAD 😍 we now officially have a Brad fanclub for our amazing server who works 2 jobs ❤️ he was super funny and we had a blast thank you BRAD 🥰🔥

I haven't been to Applebee's since a terrible experience in a NM location about 6 years ago. But THIS LOCATION has WON me BACK! Our server was extra attentive and as sweet as could be; our meal fabulous! Definitely recommend the Hot Honey Chicken!!
