Mr. & Mrs. J's has the Mom & Pop Shop diner down to a T.
It's like walking back into the aesthetic of the 90s with a family who runs a restaurant and welcomed you in.
I had the Breakfast skillet with eggs, over easy, and a side of pancakes. The skillet was cooked to my prefences and I was stuffed- the eggs, cheese, hash browns, and 4 sides of toast almost put me into a food coma because I was fat and happy.
The dessert menu didn't catch my eye so much so I went with a side of pancakes on the side.
I'd swing by or make a stop if I was passing through for sure!

Made a pick up Order for a Burger and fries. Food was ready on time and hot. Not a lot of flavor to the burger but overall a good meal.

Incredible prices. Good burger. Salad bar was lacking in actual lettuce salad, but had plenty of pasta salads, whipped-cream-based dessert, ice cream machine, and tons of soup options.

It was very busy and we were seated fairly fast. Our waitress was very efficient and good at her job. The entire team seemed to work well together.

Great little place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Old style feel with good home cooking.

I know every town has to have a cheap restaurant that services the low-income and elderly, but I still thought it would be better. I was served the worst Reuben of my life. I have done far better at home. I know this because the meat was the lowest possible quality. You know those frozen bricks of meat that cook for 60 seconds and you are supposed to chop them up into pieces, because that's the low quality stuff? That was my meat, except they didn't chop it up so you could still see the texture. I had the knoeohla soup, which was fine, but I have no frame of reference. My bill didn't charge me for the drink, which most people would appreciate, but my lemonade tasted like root beer, so I'll call it a wash. And the service? I was given my drink, soup and sandwich promptly, but otherwise completely ignored until I was done with my food waiting for ten minutes. The plus side? It was cheap, and I could pay with QR code. Other than that, unless you can't afford anywhere else, please don't go.

Good salad bar selection. Excellent choice of soups and chili as part of the salad bar. Salad and Soup bar for seniors 55+ is only $12 and includes a choice of potato. We ordered baked but while they were done were lukewarm at best. It was the end of the day so I will give a pass as to only a small amount of lettuce left. Nice, attentive server. The atmosphere could use an upgrade throughout. But food was good
