Country Rose Cafe is definitely a great place. Such a step back in time, a cafe that we all grew up with. Family owned owners are so friendly and enjoy their customers. The food is great, the carmel rolls are THE BEST. Just like I grew up with. The decor all has a story. I will be back when we are in Dickinson. Cindy.

I’m a neighbour from the Great White North (Manitoba , Canada) on a USA road trip. I always just grab a quick breakfast sandwich at a fast food drive thru on my travels because I’d rather spend the time on the road appreciating the countryside then sitting in a franchise restaurant but something led me to the Country Rose Café this morning…All I can say is WOW!!!
Not only is the food amazingly tasty and the decor eclectically charming, the server was a sweetheart! Will definitely come back if I find myself in the area again.

Very busy. Good prices and plenty of food. I couldn't finish mine. Needed a little help from the boys. Didn't feel rushed which was nice. Two servers and they had a good rhythm down to keep everything moving. Could tell the locals enjoyed the place too, but not overly welcoming of outsiders.

I really hate to brag on their carmel rolls too much. Why? Because you might decide to order the last one just before I get there. 🤣
Joking aside the carmel rolls are second to none. I have never had one that wasn't made fresh that morning.
I have only ordered breakfast here so I can't speak about the rest. If you want traditional American breakfast then this is the place to go in Dickinson and even the surrounding area.

Great food and great service! It was a little busy but we were seated right away because we sat at the counter. Everyone was very nice and the food was excellent and there was a lot of it. I got the sausage with eggs, hash browns and toast. My wife got a biscuit sandwich with gravy on it and hash browns. We also got a Carmel roll but we were too full to take more than a bite. It was delicious and we finished it later. If we are back in the area, we will stop again.
