It was OK. I had knoephla soup and a BLT. We were seated right away and food was served quick. The soup was pretty good and the BLT was 2/5, fries were good. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming
After a long day on the road we were looking for something other than chain type resturants. We decided to stop in at Dakota Diner in Dickinson, ND. We were so glad that we did!
First of all the portion sizes are enormous, my goodness; wow!! The food selection was broad and varied, we chose breakfast and it was fantastic.
As good as the food was our server Carly was absolutely a delight to talk to. We feel like we made a friend after eating at Dakota Diner....

Staff was very friendly. Food was hit or miss, steak was good but totally unseasoned. Green beans were the same. The soup was good, but it was way too salted. The roll that came with a meal was cold. In general I think if they had a little bit better kitchen staff, I think it could be much better.
