I ordered the Chicken and dumpling soup and the Rasta Pasta-- both are delicious! The soup feels like a warm hug, it is flavorful and hearty. The pasta has the perfect amount of spice and sauce. I will be ordering from here again! Dickinson is lucky to have a place like this that is reasonably priced, with excellent, freshly-made meals at that. If you're craving a home-cooked meal, this is your place!

As an American woman who’s NEVER had this genre of food I am completely blown away. The chicken curry and Oxtail completely fell off the bone. Like there was literally nothing left on the bone when you picked it up 🤣 please give this place a try the man that greets you is a literal angel. 1000/10.

I took a bite of my curry goat and wished that moment would never end. The flavor, the texture, the experience seemed as if I were in a fairy tale and had sat down to a magical feast, conjured up by imagination. Well that second bite proved it wasn't imagination. It was real, and I had a whole plate of deliciousness to enjoy. On top of that I think pikliz has gotta be one of my favorite side foods in the entire world! This place brought back memories of many pleasant travels through Haiti and made me wish to be back there.
Food is very flavorful. Staff couldn't be any nicer. Great place to grab a bit by yourself or with the family.

Island Cuisine is a hidden gem, nestled in an old school building on 7th Street in Dickinson, ND. The owner is super friendly and kind, the food is amazing, and the drinks are refreshing. We came by here on a road trip home to Minnesota from Idaho, needing some food to refuel for the long drive, and we found exactly what we needed. I am keeping this on the list in case we come through Dickinson again.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Staff is attentive and very friendly, and the food is incredible. I had the jerk chicken with Haitian rice and pikliz and I can’t stop thinking about it. I wasn’t expecting to find such great and flavorful Caribbean food in the middle of North Dakota. Anyone coming through town needs to check this spot out. I’ll be looking for a reason to drive through Dickinson soon.

The most authentic Jamaican/Island food I've ever had. And in North Dakota? Who knew. Highly recommend this restaurant. Got the Island fried chicken, chicken curry, Beef stew and Jerk chicken with a side of Haitian rice and plantains. All was gone after the family got ahold of it.
