Used to make it a Thursday night ritual to get dinner after work here. Would always get the mac and cheese bowls out of the hot case just after 5:00, lately the bowls have been getting more and more soup ish. Idk if they are overcooking the Mac and cheese or what but even one of the former employees said it shouldn't be like soup and wanted to know why there was so much water in it. It was legitimately disgusting in taste and texture. I had one bite and tossed it in the trash. What a waste of $10. I will NOT be going back here unless they can figure out how to cook Mac and cheese again. Jimmy's Turns and Burns in front of Polaris dealer is so much better! $12 bucks for a burger and a side of Mac n cheese that is actually made well and tastes great! Guess JD made his millions and got his jacked up truck and doesn't care about the customer satisfaction anymore.

I tried to hype them up on what’s up Dickinson but my experience was far too positive for that page and i didn’t think of seeing if they had a Facebook page. 🤦♀️
Anyway, I have to say I was very impressed with our waitress last night (1/10). I wish I would have caught her name or asked for it but I didn’t, she was the absolute BEST waitress we have ever had going there. To top it off she knew right away that she was guaranteed at least a 18% tip and she was still the best waitress we have ever had in this town knowing this. So I knew she actually cared about how we felt and how everything was. Hands down one of the BEST waitresses in this town.
Now the cook, they did a fantastic job. The burger I got was not dry and the fries were perfection! Everything came out pretty quick for having such a large order and all of our food was hot. I was so amazed!
I am glad I chose to give JD’s another chance. 🩵

My wife and ordered a meal for pick up. Rack of pork ribs 1lb Brisket and 2 fries. Pork ribs were perfect. My brisket was disappointing to be nice. Not 1 slice of meat - they scooped the scraps and rendering off the pan and served it to me. The fries were cold and soggy. $21.00 for 2 orders of fries.Did not eat brisket or fries. Meal was definitely not worth the money

The pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw was good, fries were either old or undercooked but overall it was ok. Service and ambiance were very good and the price was ok too.

I went on Saturday, August 24 for supper at 5:30 PM. I asked for the pork plate and specifically asked if the pork was moist. I was told that it was not dry and that it was moist. The platter served had very dry pork on it.
When I asked for a manager, I was told the restaurant does not have a manager on duty. When I asked who makes decisions during the shift, the Service simply shrugged her shoulders and said we just do not have a manager on duty.

5 months of them messing up every single order. You go back in, you call and they don’t actual to correct the food. They scrap things off and you lose your side. We wouldn’t even have given them 2 more tries had our family not give us a gift card for my husband and my birthday. 1.5 years of ordering here twice a month all amazing experiences we loved the food until 5 months ago. Pretty disgusting that they won’t even fix the food or even offer real credit. When it’s mistakes made over food allergies ! Maybe if it was them who would be sicker than a dog for weeks after seating Food that wasn’t made correctly. When the receipt even says the right order. Maybe then they would care.

This place has really taken time to master their pit! For lunch I pop into the east location and grab their Binto box lunch brisket over rice. It's delicious! Well done says me.I'm a BBQ snob raised in the BBQ capital of Texas! Finally somebody is getting it done here in Dickinson! Excellent
