This buffet has it ALL and I do mean all. From sushi made in front of you, to everything Chinese to american made ribs and fried chicken. The food is ALWAYS amazing and the service is unbeatable

They like to tip themselves extra if you use a card to pay with. No reason they need to be taking an extra $5 when the tip line clearly read “$5” (I put the dollar sign there on purpose so they don’t just add a 1 in front.) Their prices are insane for mediocre food. Rude employees acting like we are an inconvenience. Anyway, tried to give them a second chance at not stealing from us and they did it again so we won’t be going back. But take this with what you will. 100/10 do not recommend.

Mostly all chicken dishes. Chicken in most dishes cooked until super dry and stringy. Never saw the single beef dish refilled while there. Some fish and shrimp offerings. Mongolian grill attendant munching away while on the job. Decent dessert bar. Soup seemed like it was from a can. Couldn't find white rice. Staff very nice and friendly. Nice and clean atmosphere. Cost too much per person for quality. Probably won't go back for a long time. If ever.

There's nothing like an old school Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet.

Typical china buffet, but with smaller than usual selection, and only average food. There’s no competition within a hundred miles, and that’s how it feels, even though service is top.

We dined in for lunch at King Buffet in Dickinson. The food was fresh and there were plenty of selections. Even the desserts and fruits had more options than I expected. Everything we tried was delicious and my favorite was the chicken teriyaki. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and they were quick to get your empty plates after every round. The ambience is what you would expect in a buffet and the place was clean.

Parking is available and convenient. The restaurant is kid friendly and wheelchair accessible which makes it easier for families and groups to dine in.

I do think the price is a bit higher compared to Asian buffets in the Fargo Moorhead area. Still, overall I recommend King Buffet especially if you are driving through Dickinson and looking for a good place to stop and eat.

I was hoping for more fresh food after I looked up recent reviews. The Sushi was dry and tasted old. Not many options for a salad and overall less variety than I saw at other similar restaurants. The Hibachi grill was average. Some of the dishes were not labeled. The waitress and checkout were kind and fast.

Visiting Dickinson on business from Ohio. I have been here for 5 days now and have already eaten at the King Buffet twice! Excellent quality and taste of the food, as well as a great variety of dishes to choose from. Everything I have tried here is well seasoned and delicious. General Tsao's Chicken, Pepper steak, Chicken and broccoli, fried rice, low mein, shrimp, chicken wings, Teriyaki chicken skewers, crab legs, and on and on. Hard to find a buffet where ALL of the dishes seem to be good. One of the best Asian food buffets I have eaten in, anywhere, and I have sampled many from across the country and in other countries as well. The service is excellent and those who work there are pleasant, courteous and helpful, which prompted me to leave good tips both times. And the cost is very reasonable so it is an equally good value. It costs slightly over $20 for one person, so about $25 total with the tip. And the bathroom is relatively clean for a restaurant. And it's a great location as it is right on 3rd Ave and right off of the I-94 exit. I highly recommend it.

I was on a road trip and driving across North Dakota and stopped at this place after checking out of my hotel. They overcharged me for the buffet. I didn't realize it when I signed off on the transaction. They charged me $27. I came back home from my road trip and saw they charged me $32 on my account. I called them, they said it was tip...I did not tip $12 lol. Then they tried saying I was with another person.....The lady finally gave me a number to text her the receipt. She then said she first had to check with the credit card company and might take a few days. I have opened up an investigation with my own bank. Be careful out there!

I had ordered two orders of sesame chicken and the pieces of chicken were hard . Also the rice that comes with was so sticky for the price a person pays.

Dirty D

It was your typical Chinese Buffet. There was also a Hibachi Bar. Food was good. It was clean. They cleared the table of our dirty dishes quickly. Friendly atmosphere.
