My sister and brother in law and my self ate two times in two days. Love the corn bread 🍞.

I wish this bbq spot was in my town. We had the best ribs, potato salad, corn bread and coleslaw. One of the stars of the night was their unique take on macaroni and cheese...it was all delicious and we look forward to dining here, again, when we get back to Ellendale. Also, it is well posted but this restaurant is cash only. The owners are so friendly, and the food is fabulous...the people of Ellendale are lucky to have this establishment.

Wonderful ribs. Loved the Tennessee style, but have had the St. Louis and Chicago, and they were terrific. Mild and hot sauces were both super. Mac and cheese is unique and delicious with a touch of sweet, maybe like carmelied brown sugar. Yum.
Called ahead and Kelly had suggestions, and made sure he had what we wanted. Really nice couple, very pleasant atmosphere.

Dined in with my family for my mom’s birthday and it was delicious! We especially loved the mac n’ cheese, Tennessee ribs, Chicago tips and cole slaw, but everything we ate was fabulous. We’re from Omaha, NE and wish we could take this place with us. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Great little rib joint. Ribs were great. Mac n cheese was awesome. The owners were wonderful people. We will visit again if we are in the area.

Best ribs around! I went here about 8 years ago and they taste exactly the same! Highly recommend the hot bbq sauce!

Called to get the menu and had the owner tell me he was busy. 40 minutes later I called back to see if I could get it sent before I drove to pick up take out and he gave an attitude. He sent a blurry picture of the menu through text but also said come in and grab a free sample. I decided to go and check it out. I asked for smoke sausage he said he had it but wouldn’t sell it to me. He then says I have to get the most expensive meal to get smoked sausage thrown in. I decide to get it and he tells me he doesn’t take card. As I’m typing in his cash app to pay him for a $50 rib meal and $10 (2 sides) I ask what ribs come with it and he replies “you ask too many damn questions” and proceeds to tell me maybe we shouldn’t do this and wouldn’t sell me the food. Worst service. Not a great guy.

The food was okay nothing special at all about this place or food. I’d probably go somewhere else. Won’t be back!

Food was dry not much flavor didn’t fall of the bone at all. I’ve never paid so much for a rack of ribs and the quality so low. I’ve at plenty of places around the states and this one was worth a review letting people know to save their money!

The place is always empty and I see why! Atmosphere is gross, everything is dirty.

I’ve been wanting to visit this place ever since I got into town. It’s a cash only business which I can deal with, however I travel for work and I’ve ate bbq all over the US and have never paid this much for so little food. Makes sense why the place is always so empty. This place is located in a small town I don’t assume the locals come here much either. There is a big construction project going on for the next few years next to this restaurant yet no one on site wants to come here for $50 to $60 for a small rack of ribs. The potato salad is lacking what you’d expect from a bbq joint as well. Overall for the price and atmosphere of this place I would not recommend going here. I’d go over to the NODAK CAGE down the street.

Food was good, portions were small.We got 1 lb of brisket, 1/2 rack of ribs, and 2 sides and it was a $129 lunch. I've eaten BBQ all over the country and that was by far the most expensive meal.
