Was greeted by friendly staff immediately upon walking in, great service, great food, still priced for the everyday customer, not hiked to the ceiling because of the massive construction project here. Definitely recommend.

We were traveling through and looking for some good comfort food. As soon as we walked through the door we were nicely greeted. And the smell of the Cinnamon Rolls hit our noses. I ordered the French Dip with Rosemary AuJus and Tots. She ordered a BLT and Tots. The taste was so good I also ordered another Dip to Go. The Rosemary AuJus was so good I wanted to drink it like a Soup. The Tots were perfectly cooked and crispy.
Togo we grabbed 2 Cinnamon Rolls and had those the next morning. They were great with my coffee ☕.
I'm definitely keeping this on my Favorites list for the next time I travel through.

My first time eating at Nodak Cafe in Ellendale. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg rolls, and lo mein for supper which was the special for lunch and supper. Food was delicious! So many great food choices on the menus. I highly recommend this place.

Never get the special. It was a bunch of nasty food thrown together. It was inedible. Stunk really bad. I couldn't take one bite. They refused to fix it. Even with undercooked meat and the recent e coli cases. There's not a lot of options in this town, I get it but there's no reason not to fix something for a customer. I'm not saying everything is bad, the atmosphere inside is lacking but breakfast was good burgers are ok, very greasy but at least cooked
