Great small town coffee shop.
This ND small town owner/barista’s shop is a 3 miles off I-94 but worth the diversion. There's a rewards program to earn a beverage. You can gift card purchase. Espresso drink was just what I need for midpoint of a long commute. A welcoming rest for ranchers, commuters or just the towns people. A Cenex a little ways away so you can also fill up your car or truck at a good price better than New Salem.

This is a very friendly homey atmosphere place. Hung out here for a few hours. Waiting out weather and had lovely time with owner. Sarah and few of the regulars.

Shout-out to Rancher's Rest for the awesome hot tea for our long day. This is a great small town shop with great community spirit and giving! bravo!
This cozy, relaxing hideout of a coffee shop is a hidden gem located next to the Post Office. Your welcomed by an A-frame board just outside the door eagerly tempting and teasing your curiosity. Inside you’ll find a fully furnished nook off to the left that invites you to take a load off and stay awhile. You’ll hear Sarah bustling away in the kitchen behind rustic barn door dividers, eager to fulfill your order. While you wait, you surrender your attention to the ambience of the room and let your eyes discover the local pieces of art, biblical verses and photos that live along the walls. Rancher’s Rest will slowly become your new haunt as you’re tempted to return to try her new weekly specials. Remember to get your loyalty card punched as you grab your order and don’t forget to leave a tip!
Ranchers rest is a welcoming environment to grab a sip of coffee. The drinks are amazing and service is fantastic!
