Dining in town while working an hour away. Steak and eggs were basic, steak overcooked, eggs and hash browns (?) were salty and missing flavor. A coworker got the burrito and said it was good. Tea had a berry taste to it for plain, however, it could just be me. Lastly, we did not get our appetizer, so it was a bummer. Dinner for me with a tip was $22.50.

Mexican food a bit runny, like wet, not saucey. I could see if we weren't the first ones in how it could get confusing for the servers to remember when they served you last.

Used to like the place years and years ago but seems like I get ill after eating their the past few years. If it's busy good luck getting a refill on your drink. And after seeing pictures of the kitchen now I definitely won't be eating there.

The best part of the buffet was the salad bar. Cold chicken, dry, hard garlic toast, can't pick up ribbs as the meat already fell off the bone and is soaking in grease. Pizza was old and hard. I was there at about 1230 pm.

They were ok but not great. I've heard good things about the place so they may have been having a off day. I would suggest to give it a try.

I will NEVER go back.. No effort put forth for a simple burger and fries for family and communication was out of order apparently.. A to go order besides…I threw mine right into the garbage!!!

You cannot beat Monty and his staff. They always treat you like family. The portions will ensure you don't go away hungry. The price is perfect. Check out their fabulous buffet.

Worked in town this past week and ate here a couple times. Each time the buffet was almost empty and we were there just after 12. Sat and waited forever for for the buffet to have food again since who only wants to have mashed potatoes and gravy. Everyday was like this when we ate here? There were many people around and you could see that they were thinking the same thing. At like $14 per person I think we paid plenty for a buffet to have food at instead of just the stupid salad bar, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. Maybe 1 day if this happened, ok, but multiple times this past week. Clearly, it’s done on purpose to limit people and get them to be filled on up the cheap stuff before the more expensive items are refilled. No way would I ever go back to this dump of a place!

Food was pretty good, nothing amazing but decent diner food. Waitress was nice. Prices are very good for the portions!

They cut off the best part of a t bone then further ruin it with pan or flat griddle cooking.

Took forever to get water, and when we did, it was in dirty glasses. Waitress barely came back to our table & didn't bring back anything we asked for. Got spicy cheese curds instead of regular. Chicken strips were undercooked. Taco salad was runny due to not draining any of the greece. Didn't have food that was listed on the menu. Wouldn't recommend going to this restaurant if you want to eat & leave right away. Even took over 10 minutes to get the bill.

The buffet was very good, comfort food, an at home meal is the experience I had. Staff was friendly and prompt.

My friend ordered a Hoople Burger Basket, described as a bacon cheeseburger with onion, lettuce, and tomato on a bun with a substituted onion ring, and myself, I ordered a BLT, described as bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on toast. The BLT came with shredded lettuce, one slice of bacon torn in half, half on each side, the mayo was in a cup on the side, and the toast had melted and visible chunks of butter on it. Definitely not a good BLT, nor was it as described in the menu. Why the butter? My friend's Hoople Burger had shredded lettuce with shredded cheese in it(?), no onion, the top bun was saturated in grease, the bottom bun was soggy from absorbing the pickle liquid from the side of pickles on the plate, the burger was unseasoned, definitely a disappointing and inedible burger. The onion rings were the worst, they were some of the thickest I have ever seen, maybe the is why there were only 5 on the plate. The onion rings were soft to the touch, had a fishy taste, as though cooked with filets of fish, upon inspection one could tell they were undercooked. So undercooked that when tearing one open the batter, which looked curdled, was visible in every ring throughout. Completely inedible. Upon showing the waitress, we were still charged full price for our meals. I do not recommend dining in, nor would I recommend take out. The service was not exemplary, but it could have been worse. The only upside to the whole dinner, was the restroom was clean.

Had buffet. Had chicken, great ribs, small burrito and other stuff. Also had a meal to go.

The fried pickles with bacon and jalapeños are AMAZING!!!! However, when you call in an order and you're told 20 minutes, then when you get there and wait another 30 minutes, it's VERY frustrating! Luckily I wasn't on break for work, but if I was, I would've had to just cancel the order. Very easy way to lose money and business. Tried again a couple weeks later, was told 20-25 minutes, my boyfriend got there and waited another 15 minutes! Really need to give a more accurate time for people who DON'T have the time to wait!!
