Really like Darcy’s. I’ve been there 3 times now and every time has been a great experience with good food. Just a small little diner so you normally have to wait a little bit, but it’s totally worth it! I really enjoy there Queso breakfast burrito

Went to Darcy’s yesterday around 10. We hadn’t been there in years. Waitress was very friendly. I am very fussy. Didn’t want breakfast. I ordered a Grilled Cheese sandwich and soup of the day. The soup was Cream of Chicken. Delicious As a person who is hard to please I was very impressed. We are from Winnipeg. Wish we lived closer. See you in June.

One of our go-to's and a true staple of Grand Forks and deserving of the name. Even though it may be a smaller, more cozy setting than you may be used to (almost elbow to elbow with your neighbor if you sit at the counter) You will ALWAYS find good food, and friendly staff whenever you go.
I usually get the Dave's Special with a side of Hollandaise Sauce or the Chicken Fried Steak. The Maple Sausage Gravy is out of this world. A slight hint of sweetness to counter the richness of the gravy. Hubby gets whatever strikes his mood, but usually it's the Kasper Special, or Smothered Burrito (both are delicious) he'll even add his own little flare to it.
They truly care about their customers and go the extra mile.

This place is very small, but very cozy. From what I have been told, this has been a staple in Grand Forks for a very long time.
The place is clean, the staff are nice, and the food was great!
There isn't much parking. It's a small lot, and the barber shop next door doesn't want people parking on their side of the lot which they share with Darcy's.
If they are busy, you would be waiting, and waiting.
They don't want people hanging around for too long after eating if they are busy. That jams it up for the people who are waiting for a table. This can make your experience feel a little rushed.
They do have a take out window.
All in all, a great place to eat. Just wish they had a bigger building.

Super cute little hole in the wall place. Waitresses were very kind and lovely to chat with. They have lots of special sauces that were all tasty! Good place to stop if you're passing through.
