I eat at sushi restaurants all around the country, and I used to bartend at a high end sushi restaurant in Texas for years before I went on the road. This has got to be the worst experience I've ever had. I'll spare you the details but if you're in Grand Forks try Kaizen or Sakura. This place is terrible. That lady who seemed to be running the show needs a serious attitude adjustment. Disgusting food, environment and cleanliness.
Fuji used to be a very good place to get food from but now when using food delivery apps the food is extremely bland and nothing is flavorful like it used to be. I’m almost convinced they have people who don’t know how to cook because the quality has gone down so much. I cannot say if this is the same when eating in person or at the hibachi and I will write a separate review about that experience when I get the chance to experience it. Overall, i am extremely disappointed nowadays with Fuji when getting it for takeout or delivery.

It's your typical Fuji but the staff are extremely friendly. Food is always satisfying.
Food was fresh cooked right in front of you. Lunch special was not to bad priced. Overall great way to get a group of people together for a fun lunch time. I wish I would have taken pictures of the rolls but it was so good that we totally forgot to take a snap.
Staff are highly skilled, courteous, and efficient. The chef does well with preparation. The presentation of the meal is entertaining and engaging. The atmosphere is sedate and appealing.
My guilty take out pleasure and a fun night for food with family at the hibachi.
Well, to be honest the sushi quality is really good and the server was awesome however, one of the plates ordered didn’t look good and the taste wasn’t the best, the plate was requested to be changed with a different plate right away (returned 99.99%) full. The manager rejected to waive the plate from the check to a point that the server came and apologized that he really feels bad and can’t do anything.
The manager is totally unprofessional. I am adding a copy of the receipt as an evidence of how poor attitude the manager was dealing with customers not even waiving a $16 plate from the menu. Definitely not worth it the argument but just wanted people to know who are they going to deal with.
Again it’s not about the money, it’s about RESPECT

Good food and service
Slow service, when it came it was cold. Came back after they microwaved it and only thing warmed up was rice. Everything else still cold.
Great food. Our chef was great.
I have a gluten allergy and they can accommodate by cooking your meal on a separate grill in the kitchen.
Placed a $200 order for take out and waited 10 min at the counter of an almost empty restaurant for anyone to come over and let me pay and take our food. They were 20 feet away from me at the bar. Weird. Food was cold.
Enjoyed the food.would highly recommend.🤗
