Nice quiet Sunday, good music, good drinks, and a great pizza. Tried the Pickle Me Rick pizza and it was fantastic. The crust just the right amount of crispness, and the toppings were a great balance. It was fun to hit up the fizzy pop selection and the beers were equally good. The unicorn beer gets your attention with its unique flavor, even got some to take home. It was a wonderful first visit. UPDATE: Mar 30th, a must try, the heat wagon pizza. Yes, it has ghost pepper cheese, but it's not super hot, just right. Goes well with the laughing taffy banana beer. It's odd but it works.

Superior brews, super personable service, kid-friendly, and the atmosphere is laid back. It was a great place to relax after a long day of robotics competition at UND. Thank you Half Brothers for being the only brewery in Grand Forks and doing it exceptionally well.

Drinks were amazing. The pizza was incredible. And our server Kayleigh was exceptional. Half Brothers feels like you're just hanging out with friends in a man cave or garage bar. It's a blast. The pinball tables are a great extra touch too! They had some fun comic book and Star Wars machines. If you are looking for a chill place with great atmosphere top notch service, Half Brothers is the place to be!

This place is awesome! Bubba is doing a lot of work to build the local scene in Grand Forks ND up to where it needs to be! If you area touring act, and have a weeknight open in this area, I highly recommend playing a show he puts on! He always does the right thing by me!

Beer was decent. On this day, the tender seemed off. Not very friendly. Our observations suggested it wasn't just us. Would give another try.
I have to preface by saying that I have never visited Half Brothers Brewing Co., nor I have ever stepped foot in Grand Forks, or the state of North Dakota. HOWEVER, as someone who just purchased a set of their taproom glassware for shipment to New York City, I felt so compelled to write a 5-star review!! :-)
I purchased the glasses for my boyfriend's birthday (he did his undergrad at UND, and he used to visit here all the time - he loved it). I opened the shipment and saw that (in addition to the glassware) the brewery had included one of their stickers, one of their floating keychains, and two of their coasters in the box. There was also a sweet note on the invoice from Chad, stating that they were sorry for the delay in shipment (but, I have to say, I didn't realize that it was late)!! I just thought the personal touches were so lovely and kind. Thank you so much, Half Brothers!!! Looking forward to visiting in-person someday!!
