This was my first time at Helix, and my only complaint was how difficult it was to narrow down the menu options to 1 thing! I had the beef/shrimp risotto and it knocked my socks off, as did the Empress 75 cocktail. I already can't wait to go back.

A very nice, somewhat quaint yet modern eatery. The food was quite good and the service equally friendly. Due to the time we supped, there was a wait but it was worth it. The only drawback, and this is personally my opinion, the noise level. For us older folk the high, open ceiling setup, common among numerous other eateries makes it a challenge for conversion at times. We did make a reservation.

I went here for my boyfriend and I’s 4 year Anniversary. The food was really good but it was definitely a tad bit toooo salty, specially the scallops and the risotto. I think the presentation of the dish could be improved but overall it was a really nice place for date night! Great atmosphere and great service. We’ll definitely come back!

They take really good care of their customers. Helix is easily one of, if not THE, best restaurants in town. Also their Chocolate butterscotch dessert is heavenly!
Been a while since we'd been to Helix and that has been a mistake on our part. My wife and I agreed both of our entrees were absolutely amazing - from the presentation to the taste to the quantity. I had the Braised Beef and Shrimp on Risotto and it was one of the best meals I've had in a LONG time. The beef was totally tender. A rich mushroom sauce complemented the risotta perfectly and the shrimp added an unexpected seafood element that blended so well with everything else. My compliments to the chef for an amazing dish! I will have it again on our next visit. Well done!
