Took my wife here for her birthday. I had made reservations as I had never been here before, but we were the only ones there pretty much so they weren't necessary. Food was outstanding and service was decent. The only issue I had was that they put us in the least romantic/ comfortable area in the whole restaurant. One table that looked like a big round card table right between the bathroom and the kitchen. If they had set us at a decent table.....which the restaurant was empty and I had a reservation.... I would have given 5 stars.

They building needs more sound buffers. 6 tables filled and could hardly hear my guests. Service was the worst. Server was too busy talking to friends to serve our table. Had to ask for food which he obviously forgot, didn’t inquire to our satisfaction or any follow up.Food was cold but still tasty

Just excellent food and we've never had a bad meal there. Very creative and blending of flavors is outstanding. Enjoyable eating that is a culinary delight. BTW fantastic salads!

We moved to the Grand Forks area 3 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, and before that we lived in Minneapolis. Helix is as good as any restaurant we went to in either of those cities. My wife is glute-free and has a number of go-to items on the menu, which is clearly labeled for gluten-free options. We have gone multiple times and will be back!

Went on date night with my girlfriend for a drink and light dinner. We got the meat and cheese tray as well as salads. The food was amazing, salads were the best I have had in town and the tray was amazing.

The quality of the food at this restaurant is amazing - I have never before had food this good in Grand Forks. The location isn’t much (a strip mall way on the south of town), but the the cuisine makes up for it. There’s also a great wine selection, and they even let you order ½ a glass, so you can try more wines without overdoing the alcohol. If you want inventive dishes that taste great, you won’t be disappointed.
