Love me some PigWheel, good food and good drinks 😁
The food and atmosphere were great but what I was really knocked out by, was the way that they go about service. You don't have just one waiter / waitress. They all stop by to check on you. I have not seen this anywhere else.
Great place! Love the daily lunch specials and pizza. Service is awesome....always amazing staff!
I had the hot turkey sandwich special and it was amazing! It came with mashed potatoes and corn, and it was all covered with a very healthy dose of gravy. Fantastic! Good selection of beers and great service too.
Joe Blacks is an awesome bar!!
Our server was super cool. I ordered the big joe burger (I think that's what it was called. I had a few drinks while I was there) and it was one of the best burgers I've had since coming to ND. The food was extremely fresh...like steaming on your plate and scorch the roof of your mouth hot. It was great. I absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area.
Went on a Saturday night for a few drinks with friends. Very busy location. Stopped food service before we got there and turned into a trendy crowd environment. Lots of beers on tap and hard liquor choices. Good music. Slot machines card tables, pool tables and dart boards give you something to do
We always enjoy coming to Joe's. They have good food and they are very friendly.
Food was good and plenty!!!
I ordered the traditional wings for take out (10)
The order was ready right on time and was tasty. The one downfall was the ratio of drummy to wingette was skimpy, one drummy to nine wingettes. ?

Biggest college bar in Grand Forks. Good people working and coming in. Pool and darts separate upstairs overlooking main bar area. Gambling too.

Having come other (non-weekend) evenings recently, the experiences here are more hit than miss. Great prime rib special on Wed. You should definitely check it out. Also, they updated the flooring, MUCH better now.
Old: Experiences here are hit or miss, go on a local college hockey game night expect having a wait to get any service as there are just too many people. Go during the day for lunch, and it's the complete opposite.

Service is 2nd to none. Jared and staff always so friendly. If you want in and out it's possible or you can stay all night.
Fantastic face lift as well

Parking: Off-Street perpendicular parking spots line the street in front of the entrance doors, with additional space located no more than 20' beyond. Adjacent to the neighboring restaurant (The Toasted Frog), ample parking opens more wrapping the sides and rear facing businesses.
Kid-friendliness: I'm not a subscriber who considers Joe Black's to be that which one thinks of in relation to child friendliness. Young adults acting like kids tend to appreciate the fun atmosphere late nights though.

Go for Sunday apps. It gets crazy during football season but it's still fun.
