'l Bistro Mediterranean Eatery

It sounds like this place is closed indefinitely. With that said, I'll tell you what I remember. A few bartenders and I would get together Saturdays or Sundays and order pasta here. We loved it. Now this was 2007-2009ish era, so I'm aware things change over time. It's a shame, really. I'd always order the Lasagna Bolognese and, still to this day, I compare other lasagnas to the one they served here. It was piping hot, fresh and hit all of the notes you'd imagine from a classic. Just a straight forward, in your face lasagna. Some other great dishes were the Frutti del Mare and the gnocchi was fantastic.

CanadInn restaurants were packed before the KISS concert. L’Bistro had open tables so we decided to chill here before the concert. Our server, bless this girl, had an adjacent restaurant’s uniform on. My guess is they pulled her from Garbonzo’s to help with L’Bistro. She was doing her very best to take care for tables/customers. My concern is not with her at all. She was polite. She was working hard and doing her best. My heart goes out to her. My question, where was the management? I didn’t see a manager helping. I saw servers struggling to “keep the ship afloat.” Even though these employees were doing their best to bust ars, I hope you paid them triple or quadruple for what you put them through. Your employees were living a nightmare. The food from the kitchen was interesting. We ordered four menu items, each one of them had problems... Caesar salad didn’t come with dressing or croutons. Quesadilla was dark and burnt on the ends. The Seafood Pasta had one piece of shrimp. The Antipasto cheese melted to the plate, but then presentation looked great. Just guessing... were you short in the kitchen as well? I have enjoyed many meals here over the years and I have enjoyed great service. I hope you can train and recover from this. I’m not sure when I’ll be back. If you continue down this road, I may not be able to come back because you may be closed. Management, you have a lot of work to do. The young server who did her very best to take care of us, doing her very best to conceal her frustration, bless you! So sorry you were subjected to this brutal evening. I am hoping for the best for your restaurant.

Honestly. I’m not a complainer but this was horrible. I am currently here for the dierks Bentley concert, speedway was packed, so we thought we’d head over to l bistro.Fist the host tried to sit me almost litterally on top of another table while there was 9 other open tables open.So we said we would sit at the bar. So we sit down order a bud light and coors light. Both tasted off, so I told the girl waitress I think I got the wrong beer. She was nice and switched it out. Still bad. Turns out they are all flat. The ladies next to us asked us if our was flat also. so they gave us bottles.Ok so food not good. Couldn’t even bite through my chicken Parmesan sandwich and wings. Could have cooked better at home.So On top of all of this 3 different people fromDifferent tables had to come to the bar to order their own drinks! No service at multiple tables.So I took it upon my self to let the hostess know there was a few tables mad that they had not even ordered drinks yet. She said she was new and they were short staffed.The bartender just asked how our food was. Told him honestly not good. No response.So needless to say. I’ll wait an hour at the speedway or eat pizza next time.

Drinks were good but food was questionable... their “chicken wings” were airy and tasted like they were fried in cold grease. 2nd year coming here and food is still just as awful as I remember. Come for the drinks, not for the food.

Food was not great. Just ok brought food back to the room instead of eating in the dining room. Maybe would have been better of we ate there. Lovely space that was mostly empty. Which was a shame as it was a cozy atmosphere

Great service. Good drinks and great pizza! Our table of 5 all got individual pizzas and all of it was great. Tried the canad and sea and that was good too!

Staying at canad inn. Ordered for in our room. Terrible. The food was just awful, nothing as described. The linguine came as mushy spaghetti... Everything we ordered went to the trash unfortunately and we got a refund ( the woman I spoke with there was nice and helpful) Papa John's was, believe it or not, a better option for delivery
