Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

They no longer had the stuffed mushrooms I used to love, but the shrimp with spicy ranch was just as good. I'd go back for the ranch alone. The staff was polite and gave us great suggestions (I wish I rememberes her name) and the atmosphere was your typical Olive Garden- comfy and warm and full of breadsticks! 😄

The service was great the food was good but you have those screens that have games on them, I accidentally touched and you charged me $3 then I put it to your attention and you gave me a gift card instead of my money back I didn't like that you need to remove those from the table please

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would!

This is the original, old school Olive Garden experience! Italian music, attentive staff, amazing food! Cannot wait to come back here!

If I could give negative stars I would. Hostess was completely rude as we come in. Server was sweet but could tell she was new. It started off good then went downhill from there. She brought my mother the wrong food she wanted shrimp Alfredo she brought her Alfredo with grilled shrimp on the side. Then BEFORE we even got our food asked us if we wanted our check and how we wanted to pay. And we told her we hadn’t gotten our food yet. We paid on the kiosk and went to leave (kiosk was lit green meaning WE PAID) and the server accused us by yelling toward the front in front of other customer that we didn’t pay. Prompt my mother getting rightfully upset and the same hostess giving dirty looks and the other gal (I’m assuming manager) asked if everything was ok and my mom showed her payment confirmation that we did pay and she looked back and saw the green light on our kiosk and said we yea you paid your good to go. Will NEVER be returning. Completely RUDE and INCOMPETENT people. This is why no tip was left.

Visited Olive Garden at 380 17th Ave NW in Rochester and had a very pleasant experience. The location is convenient—just off Miracle Mile Mall and close to several hotels, which made it easy for us to drop in after errands . The restaurant exudes casual, family-friendly charm with a clean, relaxed dining area that felt inviting.
We were greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly around lunchtime. Service remained attentive throughout—even when it got busier. We enjoyed the famous never-ending breadsticks along with house salad and soup. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the soups were warm and flavorful . For entrees, I chose the Chicken Parmigiana and my daughter enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo - both generous portions and classic preparations that hit the spot.
It's a solid choice for groups and families. Prices are reasonable (most entrées under $30) and there are gluten-free pasta options if anyone in your party needs dietary accommodations. Overall, it offered good value, tasty comfort food, and service that kept an upbeat pace.
Highly recommend this Olive Garden location for a casual Italian meal in Rochester - especially if you're craving warm breadsticks and a cozy dining atmosphere.

Gabe was our sever and he was amazing. He made sure our drinks were always filled. He made sure we knew how long our food was gonna take. We had a mixup on a meal but Gabe got it fixed right away. The food was hot and delicious as always.

Great food, great music choices, and overall great service. Our waitress Jasmine was very kind and a highlight of the trip this father's day. Along with her are the other staff who also do excellent jobs, such as waiting tables, cooking, janitorial, and making Olive Garden a homey environment!
