I have always loved Perkins and I could eat this food forever. I used to eat here all the time after workouts to load up on calories. Before I bring up my big issue with the place I would like to mention that I don't think I've ever been there and the men's bathroom not smell absolutely horrendous, not sure why this is. My main issue is for Veterans Day they advertised a free meal, not sure which menu item it was, the day after Veterans Day, a Saturday. It was advertised this would be a free meal for any retired or active service members. Knowing this I went expecting to get a free meal and when asking they acted as if they had no idea what that was, even after showing them the advertisement. Just very dissapointing for one of my favorite places to eat.

April 11. Walked in at 8:28pm for 3 pancakes and was told not accepting dine in as closing at 9:00pm. Lazy employees trying to leave right at 9pm. Worst work ethic. Hopefully the owner sees this and acts accordingly. Having the closed sign on at 830pm and turning customers away. WOW. Never ever going back to perkins grand forks.

Stopped in the restaurant for a takeout order and was told they were low on takeout boxes. In this day and age, with Uber Eats, etc., what restaurant runs out of to-go boxes? Was then told they were focusing on customers in the restaurant . . . but hubby WAS in the restaurant. I don't know if it's ever a good idea to turn away a customer that's right there, at your door. I've lived here for over 30 years, and visited Perkins fairly often, but I won't be going back.

On March 20th, my daughter and I suffered from food poisoning after having lunch at Perkins. The common foods we consumed were the pancakes and fries. Within just 40 minutes of our meal, we fell ill with severe symptoms including severe cramping, nausea, stomach and belly ache, and for me, including also severe diarrhea lasting through midnight. As a mom and pregnant woman, the experience was particularly distressing.

Service was great! The check out was absolutely horrible. The kid was rude and more worried about his hair than being courteous to us. When we ordered our piece of pie he threw it in there. We then asked for a plastic fork so we could eat it, he walked away to the bathroom. Another worker had to pick up his slack. Everything else was amazing food and our waitress was super sweet. I don't like how he was playing with his hair and touching our desert. I can't quite remember his name besides that it started with a c. He was wearing a UND hockey zip up. Sorry to complain, but we are very upset with how he treated us and the way he spoke to us and completely ignored the needs of us at the end of an amazing experience.3/17/24

The food I had was very good but the person who served us had quite an attitude. Upon mentioning she had syrup dripping she was very stand offish. We were merely helping her. Satisfied with the food dissatisfied with the service.

Called ahead with group, spoke to manager and was told 5 minutes to be seated. Arrived there in 5 minutes and then was told 30 plus minutes.Due to this we left and ate at dirty McDonald's.
