Reliably great food, anytime of the day!
Love the grinder I would give 5 stars once you actually give us more than tea spoon of taco meat get 5 stars not going to reward for cheap toppings

Everytime I’ve gone here they give me like 5 chips with my tortilla soup and I watch them give other way more.
I've spent the last 7 years working outside the US. There is no other place in Grand Forks that tastes like home quite like Red Pepper.
If you want to understand small town comfort food and hospitality, a staple of college life, or just enjoy good food at a great price, this is the spot.

Best Grinder In The Country
Service was prompt and friendly. Sandwich was put together differently than we are used to, and it seemed upside down. It's still good. It just had a different texture with everything piled upon the lettuce.

I live outside of ND, in MN, and I would have grinder kits shipped, except, going through Goldbelly costs over twice the cost of the grinders themselves, plus shipping. It would seem the Pepper doesn't really want to ship kits. Why offer shipping at over twice the cost? I can understand a small upcharge, but over twice is exorbitant. And the one time I did this, the first shipment came with all the meat and cheese at room temperature with 2 small melted ice packs, and several of the containers shattered, and the ingredients all over inside the shipping container. The replacement shipment was ok, but it took a while to get this resolved to get a replacement shipment. At this cost, I won't be shipping again.
You go for the grinders, not the atmosphere. Simple place with great food.

Service was quick, kind, and helpful around 830pm. Tacos and tostadas were filling and yummy! We will be back.
