It seems like the food is going down hill a bit. My sweet potato fries were so salty I couldn't eat them

We were traveling north and stopped for lunch. The parking lot was packed on a Monday at noon. That's a good sign. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a grill & bar. Just fine but I'm not brining my wife here for an upscale anniversary dinner or something. The food was good and the service was good.Overall a good experience and would stop here again if I'm in the area.

For the price I really don't think you could find a better meal. I had the 12oz Ribeye with a baked potato and baked beans. I was traveling and starving and was pleasantly surprised to find this steak house. The flavor of everything was spot on, especially the beans. I will stop here again the next time I am in town.Parking: I loved the fact that everyone backed into their spots.

We ordered 2 sirloin dinners. That said, the only thing I can brag up really is the side salad I had with it. This so-called bread service has now become a joke. Better off doing away with it, it's that bad and makes you look so cheap. At least stop calling bread and do away with the cutting boards, better with a small basket. The ready made buns tase horrable and look like something we get out of our frozen meal bix where it shows you a beautiful picture of a bun and you open the box and get this.I had a backed potato with mine. Was cooked to right consistency but literally was maybe lukewarm if that, butter would not even melt. Get your hot nock temperatures at an acceptable temperature and make sure their checked. Ok, cooks before you send a baked potato wrapped in tinfoil out. With a pot mit on you take it out, then controlled slam it onto the counter, once on each side, then put it on the plate, cut it down the center, then take both hands and puch it in and down dome from each side, this op3ns the potato up for a proper presentation of it on the plate and at this point you should see the potato steam rising up, this indicates it's the proper temp. Now, for the sirloin, it's hard to know whether this was even a top sirloin or a cheaper cut, as this was if lucky only a 1 inch cut. It's better to have these thicker and not as wide on plates as they keep them way more juicy and tender. What I am saying is that for what your current menu prices have to be at due to recent inflation, what you're presently doing and serving was not worth the price you are charging. If you have to raise it, perhaps consider better products that people would be willing to pay. Last, get enough actual decent speakers because the few you have now on the walls only cause people in the restaurant to only talk louder. They do not at all help control the restaurants noise level, their cheap, muddy, and directional for a restaurant. I designed and installed sound systems for over 30 years, you been in business mote than long enough but still have not invested in a proper system, not acceptable, I was just down the street from you to all those years. It was so bad that I felt like we were robbed for $50 we spent. As prices rise and your patrons are expected to pay them, you need to consider actually offering the food quality and service that people will expect for the prices you're presently at. As you ribs are now $20 for a plate of what use to be a basic boiled and oven beef sparerib, I sure hope you taken care to improve the rib and perhaps broil it a little prior to service. I am a 25-year patron of the Speedway, but honestly, at this time, I do not plan to go back.

Dozen of us. Good service and good foodNice enough decor but just sooo noisy. Was great again todayToday I tried the honey badger burger. The waitress was helpful in choosing it. Thumbs up from all 3 of us tonight. Not packed and plenty of open parking spots today. Was probably 630 when we got there.Large group of us in the back room tonight and the service was great as well as the food.

Underrated bar side to this restaurant. Same food, but it's just a cool vibe to drink beer and enjoy your meal and people.

Food is normally good, however lately hit and miss. The servers are slacking also, drinks, tabs, and the restaurant is just gross and dirty lately! Floors, rugs, and especially the bathrooms. Men’s is beyond gross, when little kids says it smells badly, hopefully the kitchen is better. They need to do better.

We were here and the food was alright but our we have never had such bad service from the employees. Our waitress has quite the attitude and one of the other waiters had a staring problem the whole time and made a sense with us.
