Ordered from the drive-thru. Always double check your order before leaving. Food is always good but what you ordered and what they give you can be something else entirely.

This was the worst and slowest service I have ever seen. Waited over 30 minutes to order and receive food. Then they got the order wrong. The employees were more interested in visiting among themselves than serving customers. It was totally pathetic....oh heck worse than that
The girl in charge was just as bad as the rest. She obviously has either no leadership potential or no training. Thr customers were openly complaining and just outright laughing at the situation
What is going on with this place...? In the past week or so; TJs in Grand Forks has been terrible. Very slow wait in drive through 1 time; and another slow experience in another, with people just standing around. On top of that, the food wasn't very warm (at least the time I went through the drive-through, so I could excuse that one by the time I managed to eat it).
Like I heard this place got new management, but damn, they are not very good at running this place, apparently. There was also a time I tried to stop in, and the lobby was closed. Is this still the Covid year? :/ This place clearly needs to do better, or I might have to hit up the other taco places around town.

They need new workers!! Everytime I order here the order is wrong!! If they actually got an order right the world would end!! It's messed up when you have to go back there 4 or 5 times to get your order corrected, or get your missing items!! Do better!!

I’ve been waiting in the drive through for 15 mins still have 3 cars to go it’s so slow
I NEVER post reviews but this is just getting absolutely ridiculous… almost EVERY single time I order potato oles I NEVER get them… ever… and when I do… they don’t add the nacho cheese I paid extra for. They ALWAYS forget SOMETHING and im just sick of how brain fogged the employees here are..it’s been going on for the past decade. I just ordered a breakfast meal and they gave me the cheese I paid extra for but no potato oles which are the best part. I just worked a long and painful shift and ALL I WANTED WERE POTATO OLES……

If I could do zero on all three I would. I’m a dasher and was picking up an order. The two employees that worked closing shift 11/23 REFUSED to service me. They slammed the drive through window on me as I was speaking and showing my door dash information. They started the closing process at 11:30 and shut all the lights off and locked the doors and drive through window. This happened to other customers that were behind me as well. Service was terrible and disrespectful. WORSE customer service I have ever experienced. I will most definitely escalate this to upper management.

Inside has been closed for multiple days and orders are continuously messed up. Has gone downhill fast recently.
I'll never eat there again. Dine in closed at 11:45am, so 7 deep in the drive thru. Burrito sucked, hardly any meat and barely warm. Potatoes weren't fresh, pop was ok . Drove and parked to enjoy and threw half of it in near by dumpster. They can close up any day, they have lost it like so many other places.
Was pretty busy but they were quick. Accidentally gave me soft shells on half of my tacos instead of hard shells. When I told them, they replied "I thought you said mixedz sorry about that". They promptly made me 3 hard shells, and even threw in a free queso for my troubles. I was still in line and at the window so it wasn't really any trouble. Thanks for the great service Gateway drive Taco John's!

It was fine at first, I ordered my food fast and with no hassle. But I then did the survey on the receipt for a free churro. I did it and ordered and it was fine until my order was ready, the guy called my name with the tray of food and I asked "can I get a to go bag for that?".
The man proceeds to go get the bag while seemingly being upset. He brings it back and puts the food in the bag with some aggression. That was kind of uncalled for, especially when I tried being polite and he ignored me. The worst part about all this was that I ordered the meal for the Free Churro, and they forgot the churro!!!
If my dad wasn't there to point it out I would've walked out without thinking about it. They also forgot my drink with my meal which I didn't catch so now I have no drink, and wouldn't have either if my dad didn't point out the churro. Also before you think this is on me for not double checking my stuff, keep in mind that it was late and I was tired, I'm not gonna be extra carful with something that isn't even my job to do, it's theirs.
This was just a very frustrating experience.

The taco meat is bland. My burrito is always room temperature when I get it.

Ordered food via mobile order for pick up, got there and waited a long time. Said no beans on my salad since they don’t make me feel good and ended up with beans anyways.
