Amazing! First time trying fufu and soup and it was SO GOOD! I got the palm butter soup and the flavors were 10/10! If you like food with spice and flavor definitely give them a try. They're friendly and pretty quick for having homeade food. It was about $16 for what I got and well worth it. A good size chunk of fufu and the soup has enough flavor you could definitely eat the whole fufu with the portion size of soup you get, and it would be extremely filling. I highly recommend stopping here and giving it a try! Will definitely be back 😁👍

DoorDash ordered a Jollof Rice with Chicken and also a large spaghetti. The Jollof Rice with Chicken was delicious but I never got the large spaghetti I ordered, hence the 3 stars instead of 5.

This place is delicious!!! Funny that it's basically the only restaurant in the mall at a ghost-town food court - but I was so pleasantly surprised! The food was INCREDIBLE! full of flavor and comforting on a chilly day :) highly recommend!

Everything was really neatly packed and I've never had African food but I'll be ordering here when my husband gets me dinner or lunch again on door dash. The fish in the palm butter was absolutely wonderful with the rice and the Kala, I've become incredibly possessive over Kala especially and can ensure I will eat this super often lmao. I went there and tried a free sample and can say the atmosphere is super friendly as well.

My baby Sister came all the way from fargo just to try out this restaurant CASSAVA LEAF WITH RICE… She agrees with me it is amazing thank you to the owner Rhoda and her family this is the best family own restaurant in Grand Forks, North Dakota if you ask me and you missing out if you not going over there to get you a taste of that wonderful African food over there. Thank you for providing amazing food for our community over the years we appreciate you and your family and bring us an amazing taste of African by way of the WEST AFRICAN CUISINE. Vegetarian options: CASSAVA LEAF WITH RICE YOU CAN ASK FOR NO MEAT. I just give my meat to my children or my sister or who I am eating with because I love the leaf so much. But they have salad the have bread balls the have plain rice and vegetables as well just ask they can make it for you.

Had the jollof rice which was very tasty and similar to that at home in Nigeria. Large came with three pieces of fried chicken which was a win and just as delicious. I will return when next I return to the area. Didn’t take pictures unfortunately because food was too good and couldn’t wait.

It is located in a Mall, N D, which itself is very charming with a fireplace and televisions. This small establishment packs a ethnic punch. The staff there are very friendly. They serve many West African dishes. Everything we purchased, including the cala, were seasoned perfectly. The Fufu and soup was one of our favorites.

Atmosphere and Service is awesome, however the food was kind of a let down. The fish stew that comes with the fufu was grossly loaded with bones, and tasted way too fishy. The corn bread was dry with not much flavor, it was more like a piece of really really dry and tasteless corn casserole. The rest of the items I got were good but this soup was so bad that It’d make me rate the whole place a 2 out of a 10, especially for the prices.

First time trying west African food my dish was the okra soup with fufu 10/10 I will be back thank you guys ❤️

Our server was very friendly and the food here is absolutely delicious! We had the jollof rice with chicken, the okra soup with Fufu and the yogurt with couscous and fruit. Everything was perfect!
