Seriously, probably the best place in the region. We come here every chance we get.It’s your classic hole in the wall , family run business. The cook is a genius though. Amazing burgers, great enchiladas and I can’t wait to sample the the rest of the menu!

I was driving through town hungry, thankfully I looked down the right street. From the outside I wasn't sure if they were open or shut down for a decade until I saw the line in the drive through. Had time to read reviews while waiting my turn. Was expecting terrible food and terrible service from what I read. Its too bad more people don't leave reviews when they have a good experience, and that's exactly what I had. My double mushroom and Swiss burger was delicious. And my copilot ordered 4 chicken strips and they were bigger than any I've ever seen. I told the guy in the window I'd never been here before and he was happy to make suggestions, GREAT SERVICE...Only negative was a slightly flat pepsi but all this for $20 bucks and I was one very satisfied customer. Not sure if I'll ever be in Hettinger again but if I am I will be stopping again.

It's the best Mexican food around. I call my orders in and have no issues getting my orders. I know how difficult it is to find employees in our area. I feel for the owner attempting to do it all.
Called order in was going to be 40 min got there to get food said it’s be a few min and waited another 55 min in drive through never came back to the window to check on us. This happens all the time.

We went to Scruffy's and got a bacon cheese burger, chicken strips and 2 blt sandwiches. Took a long (like 20 minutes) time even though we were the only ones there. Bacon was not cooked much (my kids would say it was like it was wrapped around a warm bottle of water and thrown on a sandwich) no crisp and lots of fatty sliminess. I like to support small businesses but unfortunately I won't be trying there again. Three of the 4 of us could not even finish our meals. Note: In their defense, I think only one person was doing it all so maybe it runs better when all the workers show up for work.

I wish we could have a consistent place to eat. Last time I ordered pizzas, there was a bucket load of cheese and nice thick crust but the other toppings were sparse- this time it looks like we paid $18 for a Frozen gas station pizza. Thin crust, barely any sauce, and a sprinkle of cheese. No meat on the Hawaiian- just cheese and some large chunks of pineapple.... the cheese curds were uncooked and barely warm, chicken sandwich was burnt. Friendly server, but the food has been terrible lately.Please please bring back the tasty family food that we know and love!

Last time I ordered pizzas, there was a bucket load of cheese and nice thick crust but the other toppings were sparse- this time it looks like we paid $18 for a Frozen gas station pizza. Thin crust cut into crazy different sized pieces, barely any sauce, and a sprinkle of cheese. No meat on the Hawaiian- just cheese and some large chunks of pineapple.... the cheese curds were uncooked and barely warm, chicken sandwich was burnt. Friendly server, but the food has been terrible lately.
