Waited at the host stand for about 10 mins and and had a reservation. However, Maha's excellent customer service made up for the difference. The NY Strip was seasoned and cooked perfectly while the Filet was cooked correctly it wasn't seasoned like the NY Strip. The Wedge, queso bread, lobster bisque, parm fries, and Brussel sprouts were great!
Mico was a great find. I chose the restaurant because it was close to a concert venue, but I will definitely go back soon. The Argentinian focus brought unique, bold flavors to all of the food, and the service was top notch. I especially recommend the South American Dip Trio and the Grilled Octopus for appetizers.
We were not rushed but still timely so we had time to spare arriving at the theater. Food was delightful and portions were the right size - not huge. Waiter did a great job'
Beautiful art filled dining room. Menu offers wonderful and unusual dishes. Staff is attentive and welcoming.
Our server, Juan, was outstanding- friendly, energetic & attentive and also very kind to our kids. As a vegan family we really enjoy the vegan paella! Although we'd love them to bring in an appetizer for vegans! And dessert too! The ambiance, decor, and wine list were all on- point!
We really enjoyed Mico, especially the octopus and bread pudding. Everything was very nice.
Delicious specialty cocktails, wonderful collection of Malbecs, incredible seafood and of course beef choices. The wait staff was friendly and welcoming, well informed on the menu choices and options, and appropriately non-intrusive. A really delightful evening.
Great experience with A+ service, nice attention to detail and tasty and nicely plated food!
There were five of us. The food was tasty, but it took a very long time, and there were long stretches of time without seeing our server. Most high-quality restaurants have every server paying at least some attention to every table, but not here. They just walk by as they look away. After being told that steak was their specialty, I ordered the ribeye. It was overcooked. I was going to eat it anyway, as I had already waited too long for the first one, but the server convinced me to let her take it back and quickly bring a new one. That also took way too long, and when the new steak arrived, everybody else at the table was finished with their meals. On top of that, the new steak was raw in the center, far worse than the first one, and not edible. Fortunately, my son's New York strip was good (though nothing special), and he didn't finish it, so along with the fairly good appetizers and sides, I had plenty to eat. The desserts (which they were kind enough to comp after the ribeye debacle) were maybe just above average, not memorable. I had been looking forward to eating here, but it turned out to be a dissapointinting birthday dinner. I would usually consider going back one more time and giving a place another try, but at these prices, it's probably not going to happen. There are better steaks nearby for the same or less, and the portions of the sides were small. As much as I love sweet plantains and fried yuca, paying eleven dollars for small portions of each when they taste no different than the ones at Viva Chicken seems dishonest. I get that their overhead is ridiculous, but when the expensive ingredients aren't treated well, the charge for the cheap ones becomes more apparent.
Dinner was absolutely delicious - everything was amazing! Loved the ambience and would definitely recommend for a special night out.
The food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress Ashley was incredible. Beautiful place to celebrate my Birthday!!
What an awesome restaurant located inside the Bohemian Autograph Hotel in Charlotte. Everything we ate was amazing. Our server made some excellent recommendations - all of which were outstanding. The Chef of MICO knows how to prepare and present food from appetizers to entrees to dessert. Well done Chef, we will be back.
The grilled octopus was cooked to tender perfection, the beef skewers were also perfect! For the main course we had the paella with shrimp and it was bursting with flavor! As a treat, we tried the bourbon bread pudding and it was topped with roasted marshmallows. Everything was delicious and our waiter Juan was incredibly attentive. We love this place and will definitely be revisiting.
The service was exceptional. We were dining at the restaurant for our wedding anniversary. From the minute we walked in, every employee made us feel special. Even when we went to the bar after dinner. They wished us a happy anniversary and gave us a dessert to take home.
I'm very disappointed and embarrassed. This was for a birthday dinner. It was a cold day, and the a/c was on. There was an awful draft by the window, so we moved our seats. The restaurant was empty. Then, two sets of four diners were seated right next to us. The food was terrible, and the menu was limited. For my husband's birthday, they brought out a plastic paperweight ( that was old and dirty) that said happy birthday. It was expensive for what it was, and we didn't even have drinks! It was very underwhelming, and I wish I had gone with my original plan to go to Capital Grille. So now I booked another dinner for Saturday to make up for the sad birthday "celebration" we received. I would not recommend it and will not be back.
