Ordered medium vanilla cone chocolate dipped- turned out ok. My blizzard was to be Reese PBC in chocolate ice cream size small. Got a medium blizzard chocolate ice cream and what only can be described as mystery ingredients, maybe chocolate dip, ? Reeees cups in it.

Wish there was a '0 stars' option, especially for Service. Ordered 2 kids meals, a salad and 3 piece chicken strips at 7 pm with just one other customer inside at that time. Received semi-warm food exactly 30 minutes later. But don't worry, we received an EXPIRED coupon valid only at a DIFFERENT Dairy Queen location in a DIFFERENT state to make up for it. There are still a couple good Dairy Queens out there with quality food that doesn't take longer to get than a sit-down restaurant, but this one in Horace, ND is DEFINITELY NOT one of them.

Literally sat with my wife and daughter for 35 minutes for burgers and chicken strips to finally get food for everything including the fries to be cold. Best part was is there were only 2 other orders in front of us that also took just as long. Wish I could give negative stars!!
Update: was given a single "coupon" for the inconvenience, which was expired and only valid in barnesville!! Absolutely amazing!

Ordered food online and went to pick it up. Ended up waiting almost an hour in the drive through only to receive cold food and melted blizzards.

Ordered on mobile at at 545 and I didn't get there till 615, My order had not even been bagged and I waited another 10-15 mins for them to get all the already prepared food bagged. Got home and see we were also missing the fries for one meal. This place needs to step it up

I’m standing here waiting centuries for a shake & a blizzard. Kids come in here and mess around for 10 minutes at the front ordering their food. So we waited 10 minutes just to take our order. This conversation consisted of lots of giggling and conversations with other teenagers who I assume work here as well as they were walking in the back and grabbing food for themselves. This is disgusting. No wonder this place has nothing but bad reviews. On top of that my blizzard wasn’t correct. If i’m waiting another 5 minutes for my blizzard I expect it to be correct. Do something about this cause I think people across the world know this is a bad location to go to. The worst service all around.

We were greeted with teenagers doing “TikTok trends” with their ice cream cones while completely ignoring us at the counter. I’m not sure I’ll be coming back if this is their service standard.

Sssssoooooooo slow - been waiting 20 minutes for a chicken strip basket, should be 5 minutes. There was 1 person in front of me and 2 in the drive through. This place is always slow, but it’s so close! ?

Ordered online to save time and order said it was completed and was ignored inside and didn’t get our food for another 20-30 minutes after. The guy working ignored my family and laughed with some guys waiting to order. Several people got their food before we did. First and only time coming here. Going to Fargo for better service is worth the drive

I live 2 minutes away from this location…and I had to run outside with a bowl and paper towels to help my husband clean up after driving the blizzards home. What happened to making the blizzards fresh and thick?? Disappointing, because usually we enjoy coming to this location. I hope management actually addresses and fixes the issues with the employees.

Great place for lunch when you are in South Fargo or Horace. Always hot food in the time you would expect.

I have to be honest, this dairy queen is not bad at all. The issue I see, however, is that it fits into the "jack of all trades, master of none" phrase very well, yet is barely a jack of all trades. This dairy queen does not have any glaring issues that make me want to drag it down, however, it also does not have any extremely good qualities to it compared to other nearby dairy queens, for example Timber Creek and Sheyenne, which I believe do are superior. In Gen Z slang terms, it's "mid." I personally (although to be fair I am not some professional critic, I am literally just some random person writing an unnecessarily wrong review for a random dairy queen that I have been to multiple times) would improve the haste, as customer service is a bit slow, as a starting point. The restaurant has appeared clean every time I have visited thus that has not been an issue. The food has been "meh" every time. Not terrible in any way but it hasn't left me going "wow this was surprisingly good" (Hint hint the aforementioned dairy queens have done this). Additionally, if you are reading this when determining whether or not you want to go here, I would suggest the Grove Coffee and Wine which is about a block away. It is nearly the same price and the food is much better in my opinion (once again I'm just some random person but you know, if you're still reading this then you likely trust me enough haha). If you really want dairy queen, this place is alright. I would personally still suggest the other nearby dairy queens but oh well, this one will do. This dairy queen to me is the equivalent of the nickelback of dairy queens. In a vacuum, it does not necessarily suck, but once you compare it to other similar ones, it is clearly not great.
