Best restaurant meal we've had in a long time! The chicken gizzards appetizer was lightly battered and tasty. The walleye fillet was very fresh and flaky. They had sweet potato fries, which is always a bonus!

Sorry it closedRevision... it's now open with new ownersEmilio's SOB (south of the border)2.0. Need to go there see how it is, they also have one closer to the border by Bowbells. ThT one is fantastic food. Needs a little updating of decor.

Had a beer and a snack...the bartender was very personable, glad we stopped. FYI... no longer called South of the Border it's Dave's.

There a few times in my life where i have woken up after a night of drinking and felt dirty. This is one of them minus the ridiculous amounts of alcohol. If you like paying alot for frozen and canned food, please enter. I recommend you go only if this place is the last place open on earth. Bon appetite!
