My husband and I were driving through the town a few weeks ago. It was after 9 p.m., and we were starving. Nothing was open except this bar. We decided to stop in anyway. It was pretty dead except for two women playing slots. We asked the woman behind the bar if the kitchen was open. She said no, but we could have the bar pizza. That was fine. The pizza was nothing special. It was bar pizza. It still wasn't bad. It was nice that the woman working helped us out.

The kitchen has been closed for quite some time and according to the bar keep not sure when/if it will reopen. Long Island tea was so watered down and tasteless I thought I was drinking coca-cola.

The buffet is served Monday through Friday and has tons of food including the usual North Dakota meat and potatoes. It includes soup and salad. They even throw in a desert. Great food that warms your soul on a cold day.

Walked in and seated ourselves, a few minutes later the waiter came and asked what we wanted to drink. My boyfriend asked if we could please get some menus and the waiter replied “Yeah in a minute but are you going to drink something or not?” He was very disrespectful to my boyfriend and acted like bringing us menus at a restaurant was a bother to him. He brought us the menus and their selection of food is very limited. My boyfriend ordered a bacon cheeseburger with the hot onion rings and I ordered a chicken strip basket. The food wasn’t bad but there were no napkins, utensils, or condiments at our table and after that, the waiter never came back to see how everything was or if we needed anything. The bill was never brought to us so we went to pay at the counter. The gentleman asked if we wanted to tip him (and the man was our waiter). Obviously we didn’t want to tip him because he was very disrespectful and had awful customer service skills. He said that we can’t write a tip in and we had to tell him what we wanted to tip him. May I say that is an awful way of tipping, it puts the customer on the spot. We will never be eating here again and you are better off eating anywhere else in Langdon.
