what a darling, darling, small prairie town diner! LOVE the architecture of the building itself ! It's like stepping back into the days of Mayberry! Our waitress was just darling. We got to meet Jim the owner/chef. Very nice guy who works very hard! Highly recommend for breakfast lunch or dinner! Bonus! The town library is inside with the diner. I hear the librarian is just as you would imagine a grandma who loves to read to little children. Upstairs is an opera house, which apparently puts on phenomenal productions several times a year.

Can't imagine what it cost to restore and operate that place. But, to the community, it appears priceless. What a gem!

As it is the only option in Maddock for real food, I am thankful my hometown eatery has a great owner who knows how to serve great portions with great flavor!

My husband and I love Harriman’s. The food is always hot and delicious. Jim (the owner) is a great guy and he works so hard to give our community such a great place to eat and socialize. The Server’s are amazing. Such hard workers. When you’re in Maddock, ND you’ve got to stop at Harriman’s. P.S. Jim has the best bacon and burgers around!

This is a great place to eat! We're never disappointed and we eat here often. Jim, the owner, does an amazing job. The waitstaff is outstanding.

Did not get waited on. A table of customers who came after us was waited on before us. They must have been local customers as the waitress went out of her way to wait on them as she said she knew what they wanted and ignored us who was sitting right across from us. We left after waiting 10 minutes. Very disappointed. Looked like a nice restaurant.
