The staff was rude the services was slow the person taking the order didn’t repeat the order back to us so we did not get all of our food right away had to ask them for the other order said that there was only 1 waffle we did end up getting the other waffle free after I asked them about it.

When you walk in you order your meal and drinks at the counter. It didn’t take long to receive our orders. As for the meal, I wish I would have taken a picture before my husband and I started devouring our meal but we were just so hungry and it looked so delicious! I had the biscuit and gravy waffle and it was the perfect savory breakfast! I loved how the actual waffle was a biscuit. It was so soft. My husband had the chicken and waffles and let’s just say there wasn’t even a crumb left on his plate! I can’t wait to come back and try something else!

Brooks was an amazing worker, the speed he made our waffles with was inconceivable, I have never spoken with a more well mannered individual, it was just a blessing to come here and I will definitely be coming back, overall this experience was 10/10 and brooks is a amazing person and deserves a raise at least for his hard work and all he does for the company

One of the best waffles (pumpkin snickerdoodle cookie) I’ve had in all my travels. Anyone that travels to or thru Bismarck should stop in. And it was only $11…great waffle at a great price. My only negative…don’t order the bacon. Second place in Bismarck that gives you the thinnest bacon and only 3 small slices.

They’re local through and through—made-in-Mandan kind of local—so it’s not just the menu that feels homegrown, it’s the whole vibe. 
But let me tell you what I really go back for: the chicken & waffles. It’s the comfort food of my dreams—crispy, savory fried chicken on a golden waffle. The kind of dish that makes you feel like everything is right in the world. 
Beyond the food, they’re perfection in the small-business world. Community-minded, family-driven, and serving with heart—this place shines because of the people behind it.

We were en route to Medora and were passed by a pickup with the shop logo, so randomly added Copper Dog as a stop for a late afternoon coffee refresh. Super friendly barista, good coffee and stroopwaffles (sp?), nice shop with some play space in the back for kids, my kids loved their Italian sodas, and got advice on stuff to see for our road trip! A+ lucky stop!
