Did an online delivery order for some food and an ice cream cake, the food was good but we never received the cake. I tried to call the location to see if the cake was still there, but after 15 minutes of being on hold and hearing the automated message repeat too many times I gave up.

The owner lied to me over the phone saying that he was going to send me DQ coupons to make up for his employees' mistake (in place of a refund) that was over three weeks ago and now I know that he's a liar. I've been going there for about 30 years and that's how he treats loyal customers.

I stopped by for an ice cream cake for a birthday party. Found a good one, and they personalized it for the birthday girl. It looks nice. Lots of other good food deals there. It was fairly busy when I stopped at 3 pm.

Double checked that my order was right at the speaker, could hear them sound irritated with me whatever could have been something unrelated giving them a bad day. Made sure to still say please and thank you as much as I could but couldn’t get any words from them the entire time at the window. Gravy was half full didn’t get a large fry like I was charged for. Sounded very irritated and annoyed with me when they did talk to me. Chicken strips were tiny….normally it’s an amazing 5 star experience here but this morning was the complete opposite. Not sure what’s going on with the employees this morning but maybe show them a bit of anger management skills or emotion control skills? Worked 8 years in the food industry and totally get having off days but you should never take it out on the customer at least that’s my personal opinion.

Got served right away. Chicken strips basket was hot and tasty. The s'mores blizzard was good with chocolate ice cream.
Terrible service went threw drive up paid told to pull up front and wait 20 minutes later still no food went inside and after 10 minutes of misery finally given my food no I'm sorry or anything.

My brother in law ordered a medium strawberry blizzard and I ordered a coke float. I requested a paper cup for my float for insulation purposes and was told no. They gave me the strawberry blizzard and the ice-cream in a plastic cup without the coke ( that is the way I have always received it, unless you I the drive thru). Halfway through his blizzard my brother in law shows me that not only are there no strawberries but the icecream looks whitish. I went to the counter and explained the situation, only to have MADY take the cup abruptly from my hand and throw it hard into a trash can (she made a new one). I explained that all that had been necessary was for a few strawberries to be put into the smallest of containers that they had. I spoke with MADY about how rude she had been, only to be told that they had bent over backwards on my float insinuating that all I wanted was free coke. I proceeded to slam my half drank float on the counter and told her to keep it. It was not my finest moment, but when you are accused of trying to steal coke from a self serving soda machine in front of of other customers it was an embarrassment.....

DQ has offered mothers and then fathers a free sundae on their special holiday. You see this offer google online posts. Mandan DQ does not honor this free sundae program. Sad .. very disappointing! It was a special time that we would load the family up in the car and treat mom with a free sundae and of course the extra $ the family members orders brought in to the restaurant. Sad ..a tradition lost. 😩
