We love Amanda and her team! Many of our clients ask for catering recommendations and we always mention them. They have a great selection, they are always on time and our clients rave when they have the BBQ. Amanda is known to get creative with her menu so don't hesitate to call for ideas! They offer our clients a discount when you book at the venue so if you are looking for a discount, make sure you mention your party is at the 701 Venue!

If you are in Mandan, stoping at Dickey’s bbq is a must, you will be greeted by Amanda (the owner) who will take care of you. She recommended me the Brisket sandwich which was so big and tasty, I ordered a side of beans that went very well with my sandwich. This was a real food experience. If you are hungry and want to eat the best bbq, stop by at Dickey’s.

Great BBQ. Our favorite is the brisket, but I haven't been disappointed with any of the meats. The baked potato casserole and barbecue beans are divine! The soda flavor selection is fun. Orange cream soda = yum! My kids enjoy the claw machine, and we all appreciate the ice cream machine. Staff are exceptional! Always a good experience. We had a large gathering at the restaurant over the summer, and everything went flawlessly! Definitely recommend for large groups.
