“I can not lie my daughter loves the knoephlia soup so any chance she gets to pick the restaurant...she picks Kroll's. I won't complain its easy on my wallet and most visits the service is okay...but today I had 3 little one with me and was already feeling a big overwhelmed. The young man who served us was taught well, most times the waiter will come for ur drink order then to drop off your food then once more for the check. This young man brought service to our table that made me feel like it was the 80s or 90s all over again. He came over numerous times to check on us, to see if we needed anything else or refills and to check to see if our food was okay. This manners and service made a very hard day for me much more bearable. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name but if you read this, please know you made my day. I have had service like that since I lived in the south. His attentiveness and politeness encouraged me to pass on the kindness and we paid for the gentlemen shake that came in and sat behind us. Whom ever hired this kid....well done kids like this one are few and far between. We will be back and we truly hope to see his face again!!!“

“Homey, comfortable, hearty food. Look for the Cheese Buttons when they're available! Like a giant pierogi filled with cheese, smothered in a rich cheesy sauce. Ordered at suggestion of Caleb, who was eating it during break.Update October 2,2022Not a good experience at Main/19th Street store. Came in at 9am Sunday. Just starting to get busy. Took a bit to get water and coffee. Soup took about 40 minutes to come out. Breakfast about 15 minutes later. Sent plates back as everything luke warm. My eggs came back well done, should have been over easy.I really hope this is a one-off as they're usually quite good.“

“The staff always welcomes you with a smile. I am a truck driver and had to take my mandatory rest break. I walked in at 7:55 p.m., not realizing that they closed at 8:00. The still were pleasant and welcoming. I felt bad and they reassured me that it was alright to sit down and order food.
Breakfast is definitely the premier food at this diner. At least for me it is.“
