Place went down hill in the end.. service was terrible, waitresses were rude. When they closed and re-opened I was hoping for the best. But the food decided to resemble its service. Just terrible. Glad it shut down and made room for something better.

Worst service ever! Best thing about this out of business establishment was the free peanuts that you could throw on the floor!

Doesn't surprise me, as the service was NEVER any good. Food mediocre, management seemed to not care!

Finally glad to hear this place has closed down, after terrible customer service and their push-back attitudes. The way they operated this business and the type of staff they hired was proof enough that they did not deserve to remain open after being shut down the first time. Hopefully a better place with better service will open up nearby

Yup it's closed. I never understood how it stayed open. The food was spotty and often ill prepared, but the primary issue was the staff. They seemed like a group of friends called away from their own private party. You could sit at the bar and die of thirst while the two bartenders chatted amiably away in plain site of you. And just when you think that you are to be finally acknowledged as the bartender walks toward you they don't even turn their head to acknowledge you as they pass by to disappear in the kitchen. And this happened over and over. The wait staff too was indifferent, often annoyed at your very presence, and their pace was glacial. On some nights it was quite apparent that no actual cook had shown up as the food was so overcooked. The burgers were offered medium well, well done, and dental record. My wife ordered the grilled artichoke and it came with the singed choke in place. Perhaps it was intended as a threat to the irritating customer.Over all I got the impression that the people employed as staff were either friends of the owner, family, or perhaps hold over high school buddies that never made the grade. They acted as if they thought they could not be fired, and it was strictly their privilege to ignore you.Oh, and the pastrami, some LA variety, was pretty darned good when it was not left to die under a kitchen warmer. So there's that. All and all a wasted opportunity in a city that could use another good local sports bar or two, and just the sort of calamity that Del Taco has been waiting for.My apologies to Heather S., nothing personal and I wish you future success.

Will miss you guys. Great atmosphere and staff. Hope you pop up elsewhere. Lake Forest is becoming a ghost town on restaurant's.

Great place to try beers, ales, and stouts in South Orange County with a fantastic menu to pair your beversge with. Must try the cheese bread if you've never been before. The fried seafood sampler and loaded nachos are epic--all of which must be shared given the generous portions. Service is always great and servers are helpful and knowledgeable regarding the menu and spirits being served. Plenty of outside seating and spacious tables.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this restaurant. As a regular customer, my colleagues and I have visited this place frequently after work since it's conveniently located near our company. However, our recent experience left us feeling ripped off and disrespected. We initially ordered tequila shots for our group of eight people. Shockingly, they didn't have the tequila we requested, but instead of informing us beforehand, they decided to bring us the most expensive tequila without our consent. Consequently, our bill ended up being astronomically high. When we spoke to the owner about the situation, we were met with utter indifference. Rather than taking responsibility for the miscommunication and attempting to rectify the situation, the owner insisted that we pay for the expensive tequila, claiming it was our mistake. This dismissive attitude towards regular customers is disheartening and reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction. It's no surprise that their customer base is shrinking if this is the way they treat their loyal patrons. I would caution anyone considering dining here to think twice about the quality of service they can expect. The lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction make this establishment an unfortunate choice for any dining occasion.

Jonathan gave our table of 4 a great experience. The food was great tonight, cooked perfect. Good atmosphere, we are locals that will be back again.

Let me start by saying the burgers are great and the portions are big. HOWEVER:This place is in the process of re-opening after the pandemic. They are clearly going through the process of re-making their (at least) beer menu--and part of their plan is to sell off their watery thin kegs at full price.Over half of the seven beers we ordered here last time were clearly off. I mentioned this after the meal and the ownership had no desire to make it right to me.Don't order beer at this place any time in the next 12 months or they'll try to serve you watery trash with no intention of making it right to you.AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU ARE HERE TO DRINK.

This is really a 1/2 of a star review. This place is pathetic!I don't even think Jon Taffer's "Bar Rescue" can save this place. They just don't get it...Could be a good place; but NOT...

Food & beer are always good...The servers suck so much! Always have attitudes, lazy, talk crap in front of other guests about other guests. So unprofessional, this place would be amazing with new staff & better atmosphere. I think the hours are pretty pathetic too! I really don't see a difference since the "re-opening."

Service was good but they have cut there menu a lot and the portion sizes are like half of what they use to be. They also need to check there taps because we had to send a few beers back because they were flat.
