On my first ever visit to Mayville, ND and Pizza Shop was a great place to stop. Mayville is a very scenic rural town with a university. We stopped at Pizza Shop ,a very old school restaurant from outside and inside looks. There is a large menu to order from. We had cheese squares basically cheesy bread and so perfectly cooked and fresh dough lots of cheese. We also ordered a medium Kraut pizza they had many specialty pizzas to choose from including a za with PBJ. Also we shared a strawberry shake so delicious bits of strawberries in it , so very homemade tasting. Lots of ppl in this place and the service was quick and very personable. I have zero complaints, maybe could use a bit of updates on decor. A fun place to stop and reasonable prices.

Every year for Farmer's Bowl and or Homecoming, my wife and I always go to the Pizza Shop in Mayville. Their pizza's are sooo good! Plus the homemade nacho chips and queso is also really good. The place fills up fast when we're there so sometimes you have to go early. Our favorite pizza is the Tommy Special, an all-meat 'za.
Fried egg roll pickles were really good (best I've tried lately nice flakey breading) ?. Had a large Tommy's pizza (4-meat) which was good ?. Granddaughter had the broasted chicken was really good ?.Also had a medium taco pizza wasn't impressed? bland taste, just taco meat, lettuce & sliced tomatoes (not diced) on a good crust. I like mine with taco meat, lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, black olives, crushed doritos & sour cream all on a good crust with a side of taco sauce.Waitress staff was friendly, attentive & overall provided good service.

We were extremely disappointed with the pizza we had. We have been at Pizza Shop several time in the past and have great pizza. We went again last night and the toppings were good but the crust was like a frozen pre-made crust. It was thick, heavy, soggy and lacked flavor. They were really busy and the waitress informed us that it would be a longer wait, which was fine, but once we received our pizza she never stopped back to check on us or were we offered drink refills.
