On a Sunday in July, our family reunion descended on this tiny town and we never in our wildest dreams expected the venue and food to be so wonderful. The owners personally catered our event for around 50 people, then cooked the best ribs and desserts EVER for our family of 25. A marvelous destination meal! If you are concerned about other things to do, visit on a weekday and wander down the block to the McLeod Museum, train depot, and schoolhouse. They won't take long but provide an array of interesting local artifacts. We should know, our father's and grandfather's legacies are preserved there.
