The young people working there were nice. Owner was not. Not very clean or inviting. Do not recommend. One of the first places we stopped on vacation, thankfully things got better after that.

A CASH only restaurant. Do not waste your time to go to support this kind of business. They make trouble to customers but benifit themselves, very selfish and stingy. When we all stand up and say NO to “cash only”, that will force them stop abusing customers.

Great cozy, friendly and affordable restaurant. I was pleasantly greeted by the owners who politely served me and made this great breakfast sandwich.

Definitely recommend for breakfast

Well little restaurant was quite the unexpected gem. From the hospitality to the 100% homemade food. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this place. If you are headed to TRNP make sure to add the Cowboy Cafe as your stopping place to eat. 10/10

Had the hot beef and it was voted number one in North Dakota for a reason. Got it with a side of cottage cheese. That mixed together is a match made perfect and a great reminder of my childhood. Give this place a try if you're in Medora.

Friendly atmosphere and good food. Just watch out, since they don't keep a waiting list.

Great owner run place. Cash only. Not very large and we had a 20-30 minute wait (mostly in line outside).

Chicken salad on croissant was good. And the chicken noodles soup was OK but too small a portion for the price. Our server was slow to realize we were sitting in her section but once she waited on us she took very good care of us.

Food this time, biscuits and gravy was ok. Wish biscuits were homemade like a lot of their stuff. Gravy was good but needed more sausage and little pepper. Bacon was delicious. Service was above avg. But not outstanding. But overall good. Tge atmosphere is awesome.

My really one big complaint is cash and check only. Wish they took credit cards
