This little ice cream shop goes above and beyond to make you a dessert that's fit for any gloomy day. They have pineapple dole whip flavored ice cream and I asked if I can have a shake made from it, this shake is exquisite and I highly recommend it. Their affogato is also a delight with vanilla ice cream and caramel flavored.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North or South Unit, is my happy place. After visiting - although we do not care for most of Medora - we always visit the store for ice cream. The staff are lovely, the prices reasonable and it’s the only place I’ve been where they WEIGH the ice cream. Do stop in!

We stopped at Hatlee and Brae a few times over our weekend trip to Medora. Enjoyed Lattes and Coffee in the morning and ice-cream in the afternoon. Great atmosphere and the service was top notch!
We had cookie dough waffle cone and a coffee flavored ice cream also in a waffle cone! Great value and service was fast considering the length of the line. Ice cream flavors were fantastic!!

Awesome ice cream and an adorable gift shop. While there is a NO sample policy, I totally get the need for the policy in a tourist town. It makes ordering the housemade ice cream a real gamble, but it is delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the store is clean.

Yum the ice cream was delicious. Lots of very interesting flavors and reasonably priced. High quality and the service was great. We also went back for coffee the next day and loved that also.

After a day of hiking, we stopped to see a few tourist shops. Cute wooden walkway leads you to this gift shop and ice cream parlor. Fun things to look at. The place was super busy. Line for store checkout and Ice cream are one in the same. Amazing staff were cheerful and efficient. The portion sizes were generous while the prices were very reasonable for a tourist area.
