After a long day hiking in the national park was looking for a place to eat. I ate at the bar. Great selection for a town this size. Bartenders so friendly. Corn fritters, mushroom and Swiss burger, all good. It’s the off season and feels comfortable like this is a local place as well as for tourists. Just what I was looking for

Abby and Ava killed it! We were apart of the wedding crew that came on Friday night. Thankfully myself and my family showed up early. There was a mix up in communication on when the gathering was taking place. We had a party of about 40 give or take with kids. They worked great as a team. There was one other gal helping but I didn’t catch her name! They handled the busy night amazingly. They worked hard, still communicated and were attentive! Not just to our big group but to the other guests as well on the patio. We were upstairs. Very clean and organized. Food was good. At our table we had an order of friend pickles and potstickers. Mac & cheese and corn dogs. A few cheeseburgers. An order of nachos. Beers of course. All the food was great. The only thing I wish was different was they served easy Mac mac&cheese instead of shell or homemade. The fried picks were really good and different from what we’ve had before. I personally had the nachos. Was really good. But again the crew on staff that night are rockstars. Thank you guys!! I had a few beers and spaced getting more photos of the food!! Sorry!

Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, kids menu. My nephew got a cute plastic kids cup and straw. Clean environment.

We stopped in on our way back to Minneapolis from Yellowstone. This place is a true Gem! Verry Rustic, Authentic and Western kinda Feel! Atmosphere was great, they were playing great hits from the 70s 80s and the 90s. Me and my Wife got a Brew from local breweries in North Dakota. She got some kind of a Blond Ale and i got a local Brown Ale. Both beers were Great served in a nice cold glass. We also ate there i got a Buffalo Burger ,my wife did have a Hamburger Steak with Vegetables. Both plates were delicious and filling! Service was Impeccable! That Guy didn't skip a beat! We will definitely try to make our way back here and explore more of Medora.

Had a great dinner with my family! Awesome atmosphere and top-notch service from Lesko. I had the bison burger—easily a 5/5. We’ll definitely be back!

In response to a recent review, we had a dozen people from our wedding come to this bar afterwards and had a terrible experience. We have several witnesses, so for the company to completely disregard our concerns about the safety of the environment is concerning, and is just a confirmation of how we felt when we visited. A group of local men, who were clearly known by the staff and claimed to work there and “own this town” were seen not only slapping a woman in the face in the bar and touching several women’s butts unprompted, but also cornering a woman in our group at the bar and trying to pull her dress down. She asked for help from the bartender and she brushed her off. We asked the bouncer for help and she also said there was nothing she could do. The staff clearly knew these men and did not seem surprised or concerned with our safety. The men were looking for a fight, so we removed ourselves and went home. Don't visit this establishment if you want to feel safe.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! We came here after our wedding and men started inappropriately touching the women in our group. We confronted them and told staff and they did not care. The men claimed “we work here” to get away with it, which clearly makes it so much worse. Not a safe environment for women save your money and time.

Disappointing. Salad was skimpy with not much lettuce. Don’t order the walleye. It was over fried and the batter was burned and hard. I couldn’t eat it.

We were upstairs overlooking part of the rustic town. Very tasty food. Think they could of used one more person waiting on tables though they did a five job overall. Will return!

BEWARE: Horrific service. We waited to be seated only to stand right next to two employees who never looked at us or even said hello. It was very awkward as we stood there a foot away from them for several minutes while they acted like we didn’t exist. Needless to say, we turned around and walked out.
