This is a very cool location. Staff was friendly but slow and probably understaffed. Ordered salmon and the pork chop which were both over cooked to the point of not being edible. The pork chop was very well done and too tough to eat.

Was in Minot recently and experienced two lunches at this eatery. Access is super easy with parking across the street. Manager Bryan and Bartender Brian plus staff were most gracious in accommodating items not on the menu. When I return, will definitely make this my resturant of choice. BTW, I hear the weekend bar staff is top notch. Best in the city. Unfortunately I missed that, but if rumors are true, this old be the place to go.

Highly recommend the California burger, sweet potato fries with lemon pepper mayo. Sierra Madre Express and Grape Ape cocktails also slap. Awesome place to go for a meal and/or drinks.

Excellent spot for our late lunch and conversation! The bruschetta was excellent! Also enjoyed the hummus and being able to find appetizers that aren’t deep fried. I will be back when in Minot!

I was welcomed right away and chose to sit at the bar top. Bartenders were great in suggesting drinks. I heard the wings were some of the best in town and they absolutely perfect. Seemed like everyone around me was having a great time, tons of laughs. Would highly recommend and definitely will be back!

Overall Ironhorse has a good and fun atmosphere and the food is decent for Minot. The drinks are definitely some of the better quality in town. My main complaint would be with the bartenders. Although they are decent bartenders I was very uncomfortable with how much they pressured me and my friends to try the “grape shot”. From the second we sat down we were told to buy a shot. I don’t want to feel like my dining experience is similar to a used car lot, like I have to buy this shot they want us to take. All three bartenders were pushing us to take this shot throughout our experience. I am not local but my friends that are said this is a common theme for Ironhorse. Management should let them know this is not welcome or appreciated.

Food was great. A couple tips I think you should consider from a Hawaiian kid that grew up on Loco Moco:
1. Use the correct rice. Not pilaf 2. Needs Macaroni Salad 3. The gravy also goes over everything including the egg.
Encourage you to research it. The hamburger patty and gravy was spot on though! I understand it isn’t HAWAI’I but close to being spot on overall.
