Came in around 2 for lunch, was immediately told they were out of ribs, brisket and turkey. Also tried to order okra and out of that too. Got meals with the big yellow cups, also out of those. Went to the drinks and 2 of the drink selections (lemonade and Hi-C) were sold out as well. Pork sandwich was good but for the price of the food ($60 for a family of 4) we are pretty disappointed. We were hopeful that this restaurant would be one we could come back to a lot since we love BBQ, but I’m not sure when/if we’ll be back. Our server was great and working very hard as the only person at the front counter and kept apologizing to us for everything being unavailable. Pretty disappointed with the whole experience.

I can’t believe this place is even still open. Me was the driest I’ve ever had in my entire life. Not to mention they can’t fulfill an order. Most recent experience ordered three to meet plates, brisket and sausage, sausage and pulled pork, brisket and chicken. Ended up with two brisket and chickens and a brisket and pulled pork. Cold, soggy, french fries even after two things of sauce the meat was still dry. Plus, they forgot my cornbread. I mean, this place really was never that great but did in a pinch. But the service has really gone downhill in the last 6 to 12 months like they may as well just the door if this is what you get.

Based on the food, I got today I’d say it was cooked in 1941. Not only did they screw up 3/4 of my order and gave me the wrong food. It’s cold and after 2 cups of sauce still dry this place in Minot is a joke.

My service last week was wonderful. Brenda and Javan made an awesome team. They worked hard to make the service as fast and friendly as possible. The food was hot and sliced to order. The meat seemed a little dry, but their sauces made up for it, and the Texas toast was amazing (buttered and toasted to order)! Wonderful to see how much this store has turned around in the last month!

Tables were not very clean. no ice in the ice machine so we had warm drinks. Pop was flat . Service was brutally slow. By the time we all got our food the 1st meal had been sitting plated for at least 10 minutes so it was cold!!!! . I had the ribs and it was like jerky. I've never eaten ribs so dry. I mentioned it and they did offer to bring me something else, but honestly no one else in our group was enjoying their meal so it didn't seem wortwhile to wait for anything else. The sides tasted fine but were cold by the time we got them. Will not return and would not recommend.

I should’ve read reviews before going to this location. The food was terrible. Dry meat and crunchy bark made most of my meal worthless, I tossed most of it. They were out of fries and out of several sodas makes you think this location will be closing soon.

I used to really like Dickey's BBQ. Today 1-20-2025 @ about 3:30-4:00pm My daughter and I decided let's go to Dickey's for late afternoon lunch. We walk in and there is nobody around. Pretty so a guy come walking from one of the tables by the far wall. He looks like, we interrupted his time on his phone. Runs his hands threw his hair, rubs his nose, and walks behind the counter to take our order. I'm watching, He never washes his hands but did put on a pair of gloves. And starts to make our order. Oh, he says, we are out of fries! We pay for the order. We don't get a receipt. I went to fill my glass with sweet tea and it looks like water? Very little tea in the sweet tea! Gross! Sit down to eat. My pulled pork sandwich is all cold and the meat is hard, dried out, chewy..... My beans are cold. Coleslaw is ok, but how do you mess that up. We were in your establishment for way over an hour visiting. That guy never came out of the back kitchen. The guy that changes out the rugs, came and left. Still nobody from the kitchen appears. I'm just wandering if he is still on his phone, Is he taking a nap. Should I come back and lock up the place. So so sad that this store USED to be so busy. So friendly. LOL We actually sat kinda in the dark at 4:00 in the afternoon! Get some people in this store/restaurant/establishment that actually care about the food, the customers,. This was such a sad experience today. 🤔🤨☹️😭
I almost never leave reviews and when I do it's because I'm extremely surprised in a positive way...... but this needs to be said. I just had THE WORST MEAL I have ever paid for...... just paid $46 and had to throw half of it away. This place should be embarrassed to serve this crap. I'd leave less than 1 start if it were possible. What a joke. I'm also curious who they're dating to leave a positive review cuz...... absolute garbage.

Love their brisket, but they gave my $130 order to some door dash driver after I waited forever for it.
Dickey's! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The brisket sandwich was perfect, and the fried okra was a real treat. My kids loved their meals, especially the mac and cheese. My son tried the Ranch Boss—crispy chicken with juicy brisket on top it was excellent! Highly recommend!"
The food here is generally always good and consistent. The staff is friendly but could use a little honing in on professionalism in a customer service environment at times that being said, i'm not saying that they're bad staff or rude by any means and would not keep me from going to this location.
