Magic City Sweets Ice Cream & Gourmet Sandwiches

There was a lady that was avoiding giving us service unfortunately, so the manager had to serve us instead. She even turned off the lights while we were eating. I also wasn't allowed to get toppings on my ice cream cause they said that they wanted to avoid it and avoid making a mess, which is unprofessional. The food was good, but unfortunately I don't think I can come back because of the service. I avoid making bad reviews, but I just had to for this one, which I don't want to hurt anyone by saying this and it just sucks to have to write this. Love y'all, God bless.

Drove here after looking up on Google. It was not reflected as closed. Might be a good idea to update it? You are right, this would not be accurate review without trying. Hopefully I will get to try it next time I am in town.

Love this place! Nice to have somewhere to buy hard ice cream and it is so good! Combined with the hoagies and fun atmosphere, it’s a good addition for downtown!

Have to admit this place is a unique in its own way. Subs created in a Miami style vibe with a twist of New York taste . The food has its own language that speaks to your taste buds. The roast beef is so tender, it melts in your mouth like butter. I ordered two completely different 6” sub and they both had their own distinguishing tastes from each another . Highly recommend . I also found out they offer lettuce wraps instead of bread .Definitely will be back !

This spot was super fun, high vibes, and super delicious.. We went for the subs and sandwiches and they did not disappoint! I created my own and it was so dang good. The owner and staff were very nice and inviting as well.. If you’re looking for a cool spot to get a quick bite or somewhere to sit and chill for a little bit this is the spot! Sandwiches, ice cream, free video games and a nice vibe.. We will most definitely be back here again when in town! Hello from Salt Lake City!!

Fun atmosphere, friendly staff. Not inexpensive by any means but, it's more of an experience then a lower cost shop may have.

First time and the lady is super nice. Saw ice creams n cones I never saw before. Told her well be coming back! Has a lil area to sit and play games with the kids too.

In the afternoon of Aug 13 we ordered 3 milkshakes and an ice cream cone. The milkshakes were very thin and milky and not at all what we expected from a well-reviewed place. They were out of several important things to have at an ice cream store, like vanilla, chocolate, mint chocolate chip, and coffee ice cream. But most of all, service was terrible. The young guy who helped us should probably be fired he was so bad at his job. He had a bad attitude, made orders incorrectly, and honestly made the whole process slower than if he had not been there at all. The girl who helped us was very nice and very good and she should be running the place because management needs improvement.Edit: the manager contacted me and refunded our visit. For this I gave them another star
