Down from Canada to attend the fair. Glad we didn’t waste our money eating there! This place is fabulous! Had brisket, burnt ends and Cajun sausage. Make sure to get the sauces on the side and try them all. Texas bbq from a Texas pitmaster! We’ll be back.

I haven't had good homemade BBQ since I lived in OK. It was delicious and they obviously love what they do. Kinda sad I didnt know about this place sooner. I got the sausage sandwich with everything (highly recommend) and my honey got the 1/2 lb pulled pork sandwich with everything. Both were delicious and the burnt ends were damn near perfection. The mac was cheesy and warm and the potato salad was heavy on mustard and a nice refreshing twist to the meat. Unfortunately they were out of cole slaw but I can't wait to try it next time I stop by.

Just had Monty's BBQ with my wife and it seriously hit the spot. We tried the brisket, burnt pork ends, pulled pork, and spicy sausage. Every bite was solid but those burnt pork ends were next level. Smoky, sweet, and melt in your mouth soft. I’m honestly mad I didn’t order 2 pounds of them.
For sides I had the potato salad, pinto beans, and mac and cheese. All were on point and balanced the meat perfectly. If you're into legit BBQ, Monty's is worth the trip.

Disappointed that they were closed when we showed up today at 2:20 pm and the hours posted online say they are open until 3pm. The sign just said closed (not sold out). Was really looking forward to trying this food!
