I always order the pizza, even though it changes each time, and it never disappoints. The portions are amazing, and the food always tastes fresh. You can tell care goes into what they serve.
The restaurant is clean, relaxed, and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Service has always been decent and consistent. Prices feel fair, and ordering is just like any normal sit-down restaurant, which makes everything easy.
They do have a bar, though we haven’t tried it yet since we usually bring our daughter. Overall, The Starving Rooster is a solid local spot and one we’d definitely recommend.

My family first went to The Starving Rooster last year for a dine-in going away party, and we’ve been back for dinner multiple times since.
I always get the pizza (even though I change it based on what I'm wanting), and it’s always so good. I do enjoy the margherita pizza, though I'm not a fan of the garlic on it. The portions are generous, and the food consistently tastes fresh. The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and comfortable, which makes it easy to enjoy a meal as a family.
Service has been decent every visit, prices feel fair, and ordering is straightforward. They do have a bar, but since we usually bring our daughter, we haven’t explored that side yet.
Overall, it’s a great local restaurant and one we’d recommend.

The best Thai Chicken Salad I have ever had! Great enviroment and great service! A hidden treasure!

The food was excellent across the board. We had 2 children with us, one had spaghetti and meatballs, the other buttered noodles. Both ate every bit. There was a 16 year old very fussy eater and two adults. Two pizzas, the Pioneer and the Hercules were shared and a sub sandwich called the Italian Stallion and a Caeser salad were also ordered. We started the meal with a hot artichoke dip with garlic bread. Delicious! The food came quickly. The waiter was attentive and not at all intrusive. Everyone agreed the food was very good and we will be back. ( The red sauce on the pizza and sandwich was so tasty and house made.)

Oddest pizza margherita I’ve ever had. If you like whole garlic and soggy basil underneath a mountain of cheese, then this is the pie for you. I don’t, sorry. I prefer to enjoy my crust and marinara sauce. The ratio is completely off. You would have thought I ordered a garlic pizza, and as far as I know most margherita pizzas don’t have garlic as a topping. I had to laugh when I opened the box because I could not believe it. 1/5, edible yet expensive, and not what I wanted.
