Worst hospital! I have a very bad stomach condition that when it's flared up, it causes horrible pain. I basically was given Tylenol and told to stop screaming cause I was told I'm making everyone else uncomfortable! I was screaming because I was in pain. I'm also a type 1 diabetic. My blood sugar was rising FAST! My husband told the Dr to HELP ME! The dr screamed at him... screamed, and told to get out. My husband drove me 2 hours to Bismark where they immediately took over and took care of me! That's sad that someone with a chronic condition has to drive to another town to seek medical help when there is a hospital right there!!
Why does it take over 6 hours to be seen by a physician? My daughter is stationed there with her husband and they waited in the ED for 6 hours. This is not okay!
Nurses are the only reason it get one star. Doctor kept telling us after only three days after a stroke are best option was to remove care
Don't trust the labor and delivery they will turn you in to cps if you don't feed & change your baby enough cause now we are dealing with cps...
Waited for four hours not to be seen. Worst hospital I’ve ever been to.
Slow, it took the nurse's 45 mins to ask me what I was waiting for ,and then didn't even tell the other nurse's,what I been waiting on,and their supposed to be the ones bringing my stuff, but they keep bullshitting about their past, instead of their job.
Worst hospital ever!!! They need to be sued!!! I do not even recommend going to a minor cut... staff is horrible... doc and nurses lie... no one cares about their jobs or the people who need help... I wish their was another clinic after hours cause if their was no one would ever go to trinity ER it's a JOKE
This place is shitty and don't care about you there all for the $.... asked to have bills Consolidated well-turned-out a year later. They never consolidated the bills and they're now in collections when I keep calling and telling them to consolidate they never did.... this place will kill you physically, mentally, and take everything in your pocket so you can afford to live.....we need another emergency hospital other than trinity
I would definitely stay away if at all possible. Complaining to the patient advocate does absolutely nothing, as their staff "did what they were supposed to do," (if you are lucky to get someone.) When I went for chest pain, I waited for over 4 hours, and there was people in the waiting room for over 10 hours. I finally left and went to CHI St. Alexius Garrison Hospital for care, where they were very courteous, kind, and treated me with the most respect. I did not have to wait long there. The staff at Trinity are absolutely rude, and will make you feel worse about yourself if you have any mental health and/or addiction issues, as they seem to discriminate against those issues, especially in the ER. When North Central came to pick me up one time, the ER nurse yelled at the North central staff because she opened the door because we were leaving. Trinity makes me want to drink. Because of all of this, I switched all of my doctors out of Trinity, and will try to avoid the ER and will go to other ERs if I can. I love my new doctors, and I DO NOT MISS TRINITY!!
Get names of nurses and people that help and especially get names and of nurses and people that don't help you take pic of them or record voice some very rude and unpleasant people at trinty really bad experience before and after surgery. The surgeon was nice and professional that's about it sorry trinity had to spend the night was not even funny staying there don't recommend it go home if you càn

I normally don’t comment on anything or leave reviews all that often but I’m in so much pain that I’ll just tough it out and drive 2 hours to Bismarck for medical attention. I had a normal ear infection, didn’t think anything of it and took the pills, ear drops that I was prescribed by a Sanford doctor. For some reason my left ear just went silent, couldn’t hear anything, I can’t even talk, can’t even chew my food or even open my jaw wide enough to drink something. I heard the horror stories of Trinity Hospital but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided that I need medical attention right now and the Sanford clinic was closed so I’m fine with waiting because the most I’ve ever waited in a ER lobby was an hour. I go to Trinity and they see me almost right away as soon as the nurse sees me she tells me that the doctor won’t see me for 4 HOURS!!! I have kids, I have to work the next day, I never felt so much hate or anger towards a hospital before until now. I use to live in Bismarck and I never had to deal with a wait that was so long before, my primary hospital was Sanford and they weren’t the best of the best but they helped me get better or helped me get darn near close to feeling like myself again. This hospital is a joke, if I ever get fatally wounded please just leave me to die or do not resuscitate me because I don’t not want to be left in this hospitals care while I’m unconscious. I could say more but I’m sure these complaints aren’t going anywhere, I’m just here to share my first and final experience with this hospital. I advise you to seek medical attention elsewhere.
Sat here in the ER for over 5 hours while my friend bled all over we the chairs the whole time
ER takes 8 hours to get seen… literally . Awful place, truly an embarrassment to Minot.
For the second time in a month, my son was treated very well by the staff. Until discharge time on both occasions he was discharged prematurely and relapsed to his illness because one or two more days were denied to him. Today, he left while having hallucinations that the doctor either didn't inquire about or didn't take time to do an adequate assessment.
Very bad finish after otherwise highly respectful performances by all involved.
I took my son to the Trinity walk-in clinic for a strep throat test. Since he had exposure to a family member with strep we had it sent for a culture to make sure it was negative. Our insurance paid the walk-in clinic bill but since the culture was sent to Trinity hospital which does not contract with Aetna (unbeknownst to us) they would not work with us to get the bill paid. They were uncooperative and we had to pay $77 out of pocket because they will not contract with our insurance. I will NEVER go to Trinity again. I will drive to Bismarck before I ever visit a Trinity again. If you must go to Trinity, check your insurance first.
